Although it was the first monument in 35 years, the night of the incident was covered with trouble and the live was canceled !? Introducing a new excavation live album where you can experience the scene with superb sound.
The incident happened on “June 11, 2007 Verona performance”. It is the transcendental audience recording. THE WHO’s performance in Italy was the first feat in 35 years since the “WHO’S NEXT Tour” in 1972. This show is also a part of “TOUR 2006? 2007”. First, let’s look back on the schedule at that time and check the position of the show.

This is the whole picture of “TOUR 2006? 2007”. The Verona performance of this work is the final stage. 16th performance of “Europe # 2”. Pro shot “GLASTONBURY 2007 (Uxbridge 1294)” is also popular in our shop, but this work was also a stage about two weeks before that.
As mentioned above, this show was a monumental concert for the first time in 35 years, but despite that day, troubles continued. When it started at 21:20, it sounded like no problem, but rather the heat that had been waiting for decades exploded. The show will start with a big chorus. However, the sky at the site was actually heavy rain. Even so, the show goes on, but when the fifth song “Who Are You” is over, it finally becomes impossible to continue, and the show is interrupted. I’m not sure if the tape was stopped in this work, but it seems that it was interrupted for 50 minutes (!).
Normally it would be canceled, but maybe the monument show couldn’t be given up and the show resumed. Members will appear and “Behind Blue Eyes” will begin. However, further trouble here. In about a minute, Roger’s voice rattled and he left the stage with the word “No voice …”. Of course, the scene is raging with cheers for Roger and a booing storm. Then, Pete came out and explained that “Roger couldn’t sing” (again, in this work, the time flies in an instant, but it seems that there was a break of 20 minutes at the scene).
The above is the part corresponding to DISC 1 of this work. After that, 10 minutes have passed since the repeated interruptions, and this time it will resume! It is DISC 2 after that. Roger manages to complete the show with Pete acting as the lead vocal in three songs, squeezing out a voice that doesn’t come out. I’ve explained it as sloppy in the text, but let’s reorganize the set here.

…… And it looks like this. DISC 2 is organized by album as usual, and DISC 1 is the song order as it is on the spot. DISC 2 is a live album of about 1 hour, but can you understand how difficult the show was?
I completely forgot to write it, but the sound of this work, which conveys such a special incident scene, is also super special. It’s a superb audience with “super”. That should be that, it is the master taper of the topic now that recorded this work and regretted it. Eric Clapton’s super-masterpiece “BOLOGNA 1985 (Beano-218)” was praised as “the strongest recording of the 80’s”, and U2’s “BOLOGNA 1985 1ST NIGHT (Uxbridge 1622)” was also shown as “Italian mirrored”. Recorder. It is also the latest bullet in the transcendental collection, and it is a transcendental item that can be recorded with even higher quality in the 21st century.
If the sound is super and superb, the show is also super and super rare. It’s hard to say that it’s in great shape as a music piece, but that’s why it’s a must-listen live album. It’s because of the bootleg that you can experience such a dangerous show. And it is because of the audience that the tingling mood at the scene of the incident and the explosion of delight that has resumed can be felt realistically. これが“TOUR 2006?2007”の全体像。本作のヴェローナ公演は、その終盤。「欧州#2」の16公演目。当店ではプロショット『GLASTONBURY 2007（Uxbridge 1294）』も人気となっておりますが、本作はその約２週間前にあたるステージでもありました。
前述の通り、このショウは35年ぶりの記念碑的コンサートだったわけですが、そんな日にも関わらず、トラブル続きとなってしまった。21:20に開演した際には問題なさそうにも聞こえ、むしろ何十年も待ちに待った熱気が大爆発。大合唱も巻き起こるショウがスタートします。ところが、実は現場の空模様は大雨でした。それでもショウは進んでいくものの、５曲目の「Who Are You」が終わったところで遂に続行出来なくなり、ショウが中断してしまう。本作ではテープを止めていたのかよく分かりませんが、どうやら50分（！）も中断していたようです。
普段なら当然中止となるところですが、記念碑ショウを諦めきれなかったのかショウは再開。メンバーが登場して「Behind Blue Eyes」が始まります。ところが、ここで更なるトラブル。１分ほどでロジャーの声がガラガラになり「声が出なくなった……」の一言を残してステージを降りてしまうのです。もちろん、現場はロジャーを求める声援とブーイングの大嵐が吹き荒れる。そして、今度はピートが出てきて「ロジャーが歌えなくなった」と説明するのです（ここでも本作では一瞬にして時間が飛びますが、現場では20分も休憩が挟まれたそうです）。
以上が本作のDISC 1に相当するパート。その後、度重なる中断から10分が経過し、今度こそ再開！となってからがDISC 2です。ロジャーは出ない声を振り絞りながらも熱演し、３曲でピートがリード・ヴォーカルを務めることで何とかショウを完遂するのです。文章でダラダラと説明してしまいましたが、ここでセットを整理し直してみましょう。

……と、このようになっています。DISC 2はいつも通りにアルバム毎に整理し、DISC 1は現場通りの曲順です。DISC 2は約１時間のライヴアルバムとなっているわけですが、いかに困難を極めたショウだったかがご理解頂けるでしょうか。
