In 1982, from the Japan tour accompanying the famous Grammy Award-winning masterpiece “Sacred Sword”, which recorded an unprecedented blockbuster, the first day performance of the Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium on March 10 was completely recorded with an ultra-high-quality audience recording. The master of the recorder is used, and the show is completely recorded with the highest level of sound quality that sets it apart from the audience seat recording version at that time. All the musical tones, including vocals, are recorded in ultra-clear, and you can enjoy the live sound source of the beginning of the world tour of the 4th album, which started from Japan, with the highest sound quality. (The tour started in the order of Kurashiki → Fukuoka → Osaka.) The instrumental part is a sound image that makes you feel as if you are listening to a line recording, and the most amazing one is the guitar sound of Lucasser, probably the front row Lucasser. The sound of the guitar is so on that it is presumed that it was recorded in front of the speaker or monitor of. When it comes to the guitar solo part, it is a masterpiece that the sound suddenly pops out from the speaker with tremendous sound pressure. A must-listen take for fans who can fully enjoy the first day performance with an amazing sound image that surpasses “Meet You All The Way” (ZION), which recorded the second day of the Osaka performance with high sound quality. TOTO’s high-quality live performance, which boasts perfect playing power, is full of things to listen to, but on this day it is unusual for Child’s Anthem’s brass synth to put out a mistake at 0:27 on the second song. (Maybe I was playing while adjusting something). With the opening Girl Goodbye’s 3:50 solo, fans will surely be impressed by the guitar that comes in just like Child’s Anthem, even though they know how great the guitar sound of this take is. The riff sound of I’ll Supply The Love is also a masterpiece! Fans can enjoy a blissful time with the excitement of the instrumental group in the latter half of the development section from 2:38. In the first MC, we introduced new member Mike Porcaro. I am also impressed by the clear bass sound of Live For Today. A Million Miles Away Lukather’s solo in the middle, the ultra-clear sound that I have never heard is really amazing. Hydra’s loud guitar riff sound (~ 1:14) makes you wonder what happened, and you can experience the amazing sound. Needless to say, the 5-minute solo that can be heard with this sound is spectacular. The sound of 99 drums and bass is wonderful, and you can experience a strangely vivid sound image including the guitar solo in the latter half. Goodbye Elenore also has a deep on-beat ensemble recorded in the best balance, but again the middle guitar solo is recorded with a ridiculous sound, and fans will be stunned! It is a great performance that you can see that Lukather was popular with heavy metal fans at that time. The 4-minute guitar solo time shown in the intro of Gift With A Golden Gun is also a masterpiece. As the show progresses, the overall sound image, which was originally high-quality, becomes even deeper, and the tasty Make Believe and Rosanna performances that can be heard with this sound are truly overwhelming. The set like English Eyes, Afraid Of Love, Lovers In The Night, which colors the latter half of the show, is really wonderful, and it is just like a dream to play the best songs that TOTO fans want with the best lineup and the best lineup. You can fully enjoy the sound world for about 2 hours. The set end is, of course, Hold The Line, and following the introduction of the members by the band that reappeared, the familiar Runaway, the best sound image does not fluctuate to the end. It is no exaggeration to say that it is a “miracle recording” and “a miracle piece”. This is the best gem that we would like all fans who loved Western music at the time to enjoy, not to mention TOTO fans. This is a highly recommended piece.

Gift With A Golden Gun
