Focusing on genres such as jazz and blues, which had few collector’s items at the time, the valuable titles of the BMM label, which was extremely popular with fans, are now available in the regular low-priced reissue series Necromancer.

August 27, 1960 Digitally remastered from the Radio On Air Master to record the show in Philadelphia. As for the recording at that time, the quality was excellent, and there was no complaint about the members Roy Haynes on the drums. It’s a pity that the recording time is about 20 minutes, but it is a rare sound source of Monk at a precious time full of bop and modern feeling.

1960年8月27日フィラデルフィアにおけるショウの模様を、ラジオ・オンエアー・マスターよりデジタル・リマスターして収録。当時の録音としては、クオリティーも素晴らしく、ドラムスにロイ・ヘインズというメンバーも文句なし。収録時間が20分あまりというのが残念なところですがバップでモダン感覚に溢れた貴重時期のモンクのレア音源です。
