1982’s SCORPIONS entered the golden age with a breakthrough on the famous board “BLACKOUT”. Introducing a new excavation master who tells the scene.
“June 21, 1982 Harrisburg performance” is included in this work. It is the best audience recording. The sharp one may have already come to the fore. Yes, the same day / title as RAINBOW’s press CD “HARRISBURG 1982 (Black Box 029)” and RIOT’s “HARRISBURG 1982 (Shades 1114)”, which will be released at the same time this week. In fact, SCORPIONS on that day was the undercard of RAINBOW with RIOT, and the same recorder was recording everything. In other words, RAINBOW, this work, and RIOT are three sister works that you can experience the whole day.
I would like you to enjoy all three works together, but this work alone is also a masterpiece of the Scorpions. So, first, let’s confirm the position of the show with the tour schedule from the SCORPIONS perspective.

This is the whole picture of “BLACKOUT TOUR” that made the world aware of its heyday. The Harrisburg performance of this work was the 12th performance of “North America # 1”, which was the highlight of the concert. This work, which recorded such a show, is just the best audience recording. As mentioned in the explanation of “Black Box 029” edited by RAINBOW, this work was recorded by a recorder named “luvsufo” who is currently astonishing enthusiasts all over the world. It has been digitized directly from the master collection and is just fresh. It’s not a sound board-like sound, but if the core is also responsive enough, the slightly sucked hole sound adds luster and thickness rather than a sense of distance. Then, Rudolf Schenker’s sharp edge cuts through the center, and Klaus Meine’s shout jumps into the hand with vivid details. It’s a real sound that only an audience can have.
The show drawn with such a sound is the utopia of burning HR. The next “LOVE AT FIRST STING TOUR” was left on the official board “WORLD WIDE LIVE”, but this work is a show that is similar to its prototype. Let’s organize the set here as well.

In particular, “Don’t Make No Promises” was played only until the beginning of “LOVE AT FIRST STING TOUR” and has not been revived until now. You can enjoy rare songs that symbolize the scent of the 80’s with the best sound.
After this, SCORPIONS, who made a leap forward with “LOVE AT FIRST STING”, began to have a great sense of performance, and the show also became a “big classic + new song”. This work is on the verge of solidifying such a “standard”. The “standard” has not been decided yet, and while performing rare songs that can not be expected now, the performance is full of ambition of “challenge” instead of “champion”.
