2003年末にSirene-006という初期カタログとしてリリースされた4枚組タイトル「MUNICH 1973 Collector’s Edition」は、ディスク１＆２に、1973年10月12日のドイツ・ミュンヘン公演の、140分近い完全収録・極上音質版を、ディスク３＆４には、トレーダー間に現存していた、内容は異なるが（歓声などが編集されている短めのヴァージョン）、音の質感の異なる、同一のマスターからの2ヴァージョンを収録していました。リリース当時、初登場ながら、その圧倒的な音のクオリティが大きな話題を呼び、当初予定されていた150セットは短期間で完売。レーベルから「後に2枚組で再リリースあり」と告知されたものの、既に8年が経過しているという、曰くつきの音源です。今回、ギフト・タイトルながら、このミュンヘン1973年音源に最善のリマスター処理を施し、まさに8年越しの悲願のリリースとなりました。今回の歴史的再リリースに際し、オリジナル盤に聴かれた、2000年前半期を思わせる、過剰なイコライズ感を全て排除。全体のボリュームを感を均一化させることで、耳にやかましくない、マスターそのものを思わせる非常にナチュラルな音像でのリリースとなっています。また、若干、左寄りだった音像を適度に調整。更に後半、Us And Them辺りからの、極端な左寄りも適正に補正しています。基本的には大元のマスターの音像とピッチ補正のみの音の調整に留めてありますので、ファンは初めて、この140分のロングテイクを最良のマスター・ヴァージョンで楽しむことが可能になっています。この音源登場以前には聴くことが叶わなかった、この日のアンコールOne Of These Daysも含め完全収録。またBrain Damageの歌の2番の欠落パートは、アングラで存在する、もうひとつの同日テイクをうまく繋いであります。音質･演奏内容、ともに73年モノとしてはベストと言えるほど優れたヴァージョンです。この機会にぜひ、お楽しみ下さい。

1973年の公演を収録した音源はアナログブート時代には5月のロンドン公演、6月のタンパ公演、10月のウィーン公演しかリリースされていなかった。今回、初音盤化となったミュンヘン公演は、古くから非常に音の悪いオーディエンス録音がトレーダー間に流通していたが、それとは別の高音質のオーディエンス録音が発掘され、一握りのトレーダーが所有するに至った。不幸なことにこの音源を入手したトレーダーの中には偏狭な人物が存在していたと思われ、アンコールの「One Of These Days」を意図的に省いて、トレーダーのネットワークに流通させてしまった。しかし、今回、Sireneからリリースされた本盤にはアンコールを収録した音源が使用されたことで、欠陥音源の蔓延に歯止めをかけることになりそうだ。なと、本音源は、テープ反転時のため「Eclipse」の２番の歌詞の部分が欠落しており、前述の古くから流通する音のオーディエンス音源を使用して補っている。必携盤。
