A set of fans who listen to three performances of high-quality stereo sound board sound source from 78 years to 81 years, which is the height of Foreigner, appears. It is recorded from 1981 “4” tour on October 3 from the “Dallas” performance, 1979 “Head Games” tour from Atlanta on November 30, 1978 from “Double Vision” tour on June 25 London performance. Both of the 3 performances are recorded with Master / Quality Line Recording, which sounds superior every time chasing the age, but the listening response is outstanding in every performance. (Especially the take of the Dallas performance in 81 years is the highest sound quality that can be released as it is.) Lou Gram’s emotional vocals are centered around the ensemble of iron walls including Mick Jones and the whole of the groove feeling live Foreigner’s superb sound source collection that unfolds. A dramatic sound that places importance on melody will attract all fans who love high quality rock in this era. For fans who can enjoy live arrangements and set differences every age, a nice 3-disc set appears.

Three set containing the performance of Foreigner’s era, the champion of industrial rock, appeared. Disc 1 is a Dallas performance on October 3, 1981, Disc 2 is an Atlanta performance on November 30, 1979, Disc 3 is a Rainbow Theater performance in London on June 25, 1978, each with a sound board sound source It is nice to be there. Here we listen from the oldest disk 3. It is a folner who just released the second album “Double Vision”, but as a British / American mixed band, is it supposed to be a triumphant performance in the UK here as well? Suddenly energetic performance is developed from the beginning. It is a valuable live performance in the original and member composition and it is almost the same performance as the first Japanese tour, but I heard a long song by flute solo at “Starrider” where Ian McDonald’s presence exists. Somewhat concerned about hiss noise, but the sound quality is very good considering the times. The Atlanta performance on Disk 2 is from the tour after “Head Games” was announced, and the base has been replaced by Rick Willis. It is a mix that is close to mono on the whole, it is clearly a sound board sound source, but it is quite high quality sound. I’m worried that the voice of Lou Gram of the vocals looks hot and spicy, but still this quality performance is wonderful. Lastly, the disc 1 is “4” when I played a complete break, the venue has become bigger and the audience’s enthusiasm is amazing. The members are composed of six members, including the original four people plus two guest players. The thickness of the sound itself is the same as that of the original member. Again, it is a PA-like mix that narrowed the drums and the like to monaural, but it is quite high sound quality just as the age is expected to be close. What I want to pay attention to here is the live performance of the big hit song “Waiting For A Girl Like You”. In the record, the sound of Solina Strings was beautiful, it was a transcendental ballad that evokes a deep emotion, but here we are showing off with an unusual arrangement that plunges into a band performance at once from a playing motif I am impressed again with this. It is because Follina shone on the throne of industrial rock as both name and factory, not because it was just a hit band, but rather a band that can properly express these polar ballads. Although the happy visit to Japan has only been held in 2007, it will also be a proof that it will not start if the vocalist is not Lou Gram. Although it is a waste that it is not complete collection of each performance with three sets, it can be said that the value of Foreigner’s sound can be said to be considerably high by understanding the transition of sound one by one.

ここで注目したいのは、大ヒット曲「Waiting For A Girl Like You」のライヴ演奏である。
