ボズ・スキャッグスの1980年来日公演から10月14日／日本武道館公演をオーディエンス収録している。この年のツアーとしては武道館３デイズなどという大規模なもので、その初日となったステージが完全収録されている。音質として時代を感じさせるようなナロウなそれではあるが、武道館内の空気感は上手に描けており、ステージ全体を俯瞰するようなグッドなバランスに貫かれている。この年のスキャッグスの音源としてはこの日本ツアー直後、NYはRadio City Music Hall公演（11月26日）がSBDとして有名だが、それらと表裏する内容として、こちらはアンコール以降の楽曲が収録されていることもあり、同じくフォローをしておきたい。『Middle Man』アルバムリリース直後、この年のツアー宣伝時に広告代理店が「AOR」なる造語を生み出し、それがスキャッグスの日本における代名詞となったのは云うまでもないが、メロウでバラッドなイメージを前面に押し出す反面、スキャッグスのルーツにはR&Bやブルー・アイド・ソウルがあり、そうした側面から音源に接してみれば興味深い内容にも聴こえてくる。Lido ShuffleやWe’re All Aloneなどという王道なバラッドもそうした素養があるからこそのパフォームであり、スキャッグスの持つメロディとセンスが際立つようにもなっているのである。もちろん、バックと務めるマイケル・ランドゥのギターがシュアで的確にあること、またカルロス・ヴェガ／マイク・ポーカロのリズムセクションがタイトにサポートしていることも見逃せない。オーディエンス録音でありながらベース音もきちんと収録されているがため、ポーカロが繰り出す絶妙なるオブリガートが確認できるのもポイント。またTOTO絡みであるならば、スティーブ・ルカサーと共作のMiddle ManがそのままTOTOの楽曲としてもおかしくはない幾分かロック寄りであることも面白い。初回納品分にはこの後の85年来日時となる「BUDOKAN 1985」がボーナスとされる（３月14日／日本武道館）。こちらはSBD音源として、そのクオリティは充分なものではあり、より深化をしたアダルト・コンテンポラリーの世界を堪能できる。パッケージとしては良質なタイトルとなる。
