“SO FAR, SO GOOD … SO WHAT!” Is a recurrence era of Made in Japan becomes more affordable. If it were contained in this work, from his second tour to Japan, “July 14, 1988 – Nakano Sun Plaza performance”. First, let’s look at the overview of the entire Japan tour.

– July 12: Nakano Sun Plaza
– July 13, 2011: Osaka Welfare Pension Hall
– July 14: Nakano Sun Plaza [this work] – July 15: Nakano Sun Plaza
– July 18: Nagoya City Auditorium

In this way, the second Japan tour all five performances. This work is the audience album that contains the 3 performances eyes of them hit in the middle do. Such this work up to the point of, “SO FAR, SO GOOD” only this year would be lineup. It is very MEGADETH initially who had also participated Kerry King, etc., but an important line-up is the first 15-year two. “KILLING IS MY BUSINESS”, “PEACE SELLS” was a raised create “Chris Poland & Gall Samuelson” era, the golden age of the “RUST IN PEACE” to “CRYPTIC WRITINGS,” “Marty Friedman and Nick Menza” era will you. Not only the album, also in the live recording, the two, but without another official / sound board / audience overwhelming, has been left in large quantities. However, when it comes to caught was “Jeff Young and Chuck Bira” era in the meantime, the story is different. The four live is only about one year in December 1988 from November 1987, the official stupid informal recording is also extremely low. Listen to live of such valuable era in Japanese record. That is the this work a maximum of flavor.
First, when all is said and done ensemble. Although the first visit to Japan was MEGADETH that sprinkle the extremism of the brink of collapse in the sprint sprint, here in turn, makes us hear the performance the first time you have a Kichitsu despite aggressive. Although not a consistent feel like Marty & Nick era after, we moment that the world began to evolve into a big play of the scale to the other party has been recorded. Of course, one person alone is also different from the other times. Jeff was a guitar instructor, demonstrate the first time in stable technician. Unique tone of Chris, unlike crying phrase of Marty, Dave Mustaine also to not be up to the individual is going to take the lead in the sharpness as two dolphin. One of the chuck is there only is a roots in punk / hardcore, is a powerful beat of intense than the fine technique.
And, even great diligently transmitted sound quality such ensemble. It does not “like the sound board” of a type called, but firmly stretched the lead is bold musical tone, also does not obstruct the performance frenzy. Balance is not no place to become unstable at the beginning, but the freshness of the master cassette that has been ceded directly from the recording who is the vivid as if Tsu like yesterday proceedings.
The sound / show is also fiercely valuable to be drawn in the ensemble. Completely “SO FAR, SO GOOD” and had dyed the color, I songs other than during the entire eight songs of the album “The Lungs Of Hell” will showcase. Especially valuable thing is, “Mary Jane” and “502”. “Mary Jane” is, to not playing after only even this tour while being single cut, there is no only a record number of times of the book led to “502”. Where you know, just for a rhea-take in the ultra rare that Japan tour twice and once in New York.

Valuable lineup, rhea performance, great sound. On top of that, is a live album that also is felt in the world until the history of MEGADETH to continue to scale up to the opponent. Harsh Naru “Chris & Gull era”, precious Made in Japan of the era which is different with “Marty & Nick” when they dance to the royal road of the metal. Please, please enjoy plenty.

『SO FAR, SO GOOD… SO WHAT!』

完全に『SO FAR, SO GOOD』色に染まっていまして、アルバムの全8曲中「The Lungs Of Hell」以外の全曲が披露されるのです。
