ディープなフロイド・マニアからPink Floyd版「Destroyer」と言わしめ、アニマルズ･ツアー中、これ以上完璧な演奏はない、との高評価を受ける6月25日クリーヴランド公演を、初のマスター･クオリティ、過去最高の超高音質と最長のヴァージョンで完全収録した1977年ツアーの決定版が登場です。収録時間2時間15分。既発「4 Live in Ohio」(STTP)とのジェネレーションの差は歴然で、鮮度抜群の最高レベルのサウンドでショウの全貌を堪能することができます。更なる既発とのアドバンテージとしては、①第二部の「炎」パートがノンカットで聴ける②既発で逆転して収録されていたMoneyとUs And Themが正しい曲順で聴ける③ピッチが正確な上、アンコールを中心に歓声が３分ほど長く収録されている。などが挙げられます。コンサートイントロでは主催者側の説明の後、音響設備の最終確認のために「ピンクノイズ」が流されます。Sheepの疾走感溢れる演奏、Dogsのドラマチックなパフォーマンスは聴き応えがあります。Dogs終演後にテープチェンジのカットが入るのは既発と同じ。POTW Pt2のホワイトのソロも際立っています。この日の20分を超えるPigsの熱演はファン必聴であり「ツアー･ベスト」と評されるグルーブ感に満ちた迫力あるパフォーマンスを堪能することができます。ディスク２冒頭には、主催者から観客への、上空に吊るされた豚の人形への注意がアナウンスされます。SOYCD Pt1-5は既発同様にギターソロの途中からスタート。静かな部分では、「Sit Down!」を絶叫する観客の罵声にうんざりあしますが、そんな中、フロイドは統制のとれた強固で堂々たる演奏を次々と披露していきます。特に、この日のHave A Cigar、Wish You Were Here、SOYCD Pt 6-9と続く「炎」後半パートは、楽曲の持つ魅力が最大限に発揮されており、最高の聴き所になっています。（Wish You Were Hereの終演後にテープチェンジのカットがあります。）７７年フロイドの最大の魅力であるジャム･パートを最良の形で楽しむことができます。特に、凄まじいギタープレイが楽しめるSOYCD Pt 6-9は絶品中の絶品です！！ロジャーのThank youの後、ワンカット入れ、既発未収の録音者による「Here’s the encore, from Tonight entertainment, BBC1」という冗談の言葉も入っています。Moneyになっても音質は落ちることなく収録されており、特に中盤のギターソロは圧巻の音質で収録されています。（途中、ギターソロで音が回るのは、会場内に複数設置されたスピーカーの音群移動装置のエフェクトによるものです。）Money終演後の歓声も既発より２分以上長く収録されています。アンコールラストのUs & Them は既発同様、頭欠けがあります。ムード溢れるサックス、ギルモアの味わい深いボーカルも素晴らしく、この素晴らしいライブをラストをドラマチックに締めくくります。ジャケットに当日の会場写真を多数フィーチャーした決定版。アニマルズ･ツアーを代表する最強盤が200枚限定のプレスCDにてリリース決定です。

1977年の世界ツアー「In The Flech」から、Cleveland公演を収録。本公演を収録したタイトルは過去に何度もリリースされているが、最長の収録時間、そして優れた音質の音源を使用した今回のリリースによって、既発タイトルはすべて一蹴されるだろう。本公演を含め、残り9公演となった彼らだが、場数を踏んできた経験による強固な演奏力と、数万人の聴衆を圧倒する強力なPAシステムによって、「Get Out!」「Sit Down」という怒号が渦巻く劣悪な環境化でも、まったく動じることがない。Gilmourに加え、「Have A Cigar」において流麗なソロで魅了するSnowy Whiteのツイン・ギター体制によるヘビーでハードロック的な演奏は、従来のFloydファンにとっては違和感のあるものだろう。この世界ツアー前半に行われた欧州ツアー時の紳士的な演奏が、許容範囲といったところかもしれない。しかし、「Shine On You Crazy Diamond Part 6-9」の後半に展開される長大なギターソロパートで、GimourからWhiteにソロを回す構成は、新たな彼らの魅力でもある。200枚限定のファクトリープレス仕様。当日の会場の写真を使用したジャケットも秀逸だ。
