’83年のアルバム「UNDERCOVER」のためのスタジオ・セッションから新しい未発表テイクを集めたコレクションの登場です。 トラック1～7は「フィルヒョウ・テープ」とタイトルされた’82年10月～11月にパリのプライベート・スタジオでの新音源です。 アルバムのための最も初期段階のデモ録音で、ミック、キース、チャーリーの3名のみでの演奏のようです。 この段階で既にハモリもバッチリとキマッている「WANNA HOLD YOU」、カントリー・バージョンの「SHE WAS HOT」、 既発とは別バージョンの「CAN’T FIND LOVE」、CD「THINK YOU LIKE IT」に収録されていた「IN YOUR HAND」にボーカルの乗ったバージョンの「WHAT I AM SAYING IS TRUE」等、 全ての部分が聴きものと言える充実した新音源です。

トラック8～15はやはりアンダーカバーのためのセッションの未発表曲のサンプル音源で、 それぞれ30秒程度ずつの収録ですがステレオ収録で音質も良く今後の新たな発掘が期待されます。

トラック16はWYSPラジオ・バージョンとクレジットされた初期バージョン。 17はこれまでDACのアンダーカバー関連のCDアルバムから収録漏れしていたフル・ロング・バージョン。 18は「FOXES IN THE BOXES」シリーズにボーナス収録されていた21分のロング・バージョンですがJEMSによるリマスタリングでなく、 元音源から、やや早かったピッチと一箇所大きなテープ劣化によるドロップアウト修正をしただけで、 一切EQやコンプレッサー処理を施していないナチュラルな状態で再収録したもの。レアな新音源とコアな未発テイクをコンピレートしたコレクター必携のニュータイトルです。
