地元警察からの執拗な嫌がらせにもめげず、1969年11月28～30日にフロリダで開催された
『Palm Beach International Music And Art Festival』の最終日の模様をAmbient録音した、
合計約６時間分にも及ぶREEL MASTERからのダイレクト音源、ついに登場！

1969年11月28日にストーンズMSG最終公演を観た後、フロリダへ向かったテーパーが
現地に到着したのは11月30日。雨で地面がぬかるみ、気温がどんどん低下していく野外会場で
ステージ近くに陣取って録音を続け、Country Joe、The Byrds、Jefferson Airplane、
Sly & The Family Stone、Janis Joplin、The Rolling Stones等の演奏をREELに記録。
日付が12月1日に変わった真夜中過ぎ、一向に現れないストーンズを待つ間に突発的に行われた
JanisとJohnny Winterとの即興ジャム「Foolish Woman Blues」にはVanilla Fudgeも加わり、
25分間にも及ぶ狂気のセッションを繰り広げるも、ストーンズの到着は遅れに遅れ、
ようやく深夜にヘリで会場入りを果たしてステージに登場したのは12月1日の早朝4:30。

このフェスに出演するだけで10万ドルのギャラが保証されていたというストーンズが、
最後の最後まで寒さに耐えながら自分たちを待っていた数千人のオーディエンスを相手に、
極寒の野外ステージという悪環境のため中々合わないチューニングに苦労しながらも、

今回リリース作品の内容についてですが、まずはDISC-2のストーンズのパートに関しては、
マスターリールの太い音をそのまま活かしたクリアーかつ骨太なサウンドとなっており、
冒頭のMC部分も一切編集せずに収録。1969年ツアーのオーディエンス録音音源の中でも
上位に位置する近くてハッキリした録音です。また、寒さもあってバッテリーの減りが早く、
後半部分のリール回転速度が遅くなって録音ピッチが上がっていってしまっているのを
極力修正しております。「Honky Tonk Women」の後に「ハ～イ、ジャンキーズ」と
ドラッグをキメているオーディエンスに呼びかける照れ隠しのようなミックのMCも面白く、
1969ツアー最終公演にして、数日後のオルタモントの前哨戦ともなった貴重なフェス・ギグの
模様を余すところなく記録したマスターリールからのダイレクト・トランスファーにより、
芯のあるバンド・サウンドとボーカルが迫る、過去最高の音質にてお楽しみ頂けます！

またDISC-1には、同フェス最終日に出演した各種アーティストの好演をダイジェスト収録！
ダイジェストとはいえ全曲フルコーラス収録ですが、The Byrdsの「Eight Miles High」の
インプロヴィゼーション部分とJanis & Johnny Winterのジャムのみ短く編集してあります。
以前Janis Joplinのパートのみ密かに出回っていたようですが、その他は初流出となる超貴重音源！
今回はこの約５時間に及ぶ各種アーティストの音源から、代表曲＆有名曲ばかりをチョイスして、
１枚のCDにコンパイル！これもまたマスターリールならでは骨太サウンドでお楽しみ頂けます。

ラヴでピースな1969年に行われたフェスは『Woodstock』と『Altamont』だけじゃない！
