Stones will be performing consecutively at Madison Square Garden in New York for six days from June 22nd to 27th, the middle of a two-week North American tour. The performances are documented each day in the following releases.

The performance on the 26th, which will be released this time, mainly focuses on the high-quality sound source of the latter half recorded in “Welcome Back to New York” (VGP-039), which is currently difficult to obtain, and was not available to traders at the time of the VGP board release. It will be a recording board of all songs compiled with Source 2 and Source 3. Source 1 used in the VGP board was originally B.I. Only the latter half of the song is recorded excluding the Preston songs, and the sound quality is not very good, but the source 2 that recorded the two Preston songs and the whole, and the source 3 that is monaural but almost all but the two Preston songs are recorded. There are three separate sound sources (both are now released on CD on their own). Source 3 used in the first half of this work is also of good quality above average for the venue recording at the time of 1975, and the part that was not covered by the VGP board is firmly reproduced. The high-quality sound source in the latter half has also been transferred from the original tape for the first time in a while, and I am surprised again by its high quality.
At one point, it was rumored to be a mirrored sound source because of its sound quality, but this sound source is due to another taper. However, it is presumed that the recorded equipment used was of a grade quite similar to Mirrored. Since it is the 5th day of the continuous performance, all the members are still in their 30s and young, but an irregular set with two songs from the MSG basic set list, Wild Horse and Encore’s devilish song. It is composed.
In contrast to the official recording and release of the stage in LA, the MSG performance unfortunately hasn’t seen the sun, but this time the performance on the fifth day is as high as possible. Reproduced with quality. The energetic performance that does not look as tired as LA in the latter half of the tour is also really attractive.

今回リリースされる２６日の公演は現在入手難な『Welcome Back to New York』(VGP-039)に収録された後半部分の高音質ソースをメインに、VGP盤リリース当時はトレーダーにも流れていなかったソース２、ソース３とコンパイルした全曲収録盤となります。VGP盤で使用されたソース１は元々Ｂ．プレストン曲を除いた後半部分しか収録されておらず、音質はあまり良くないがプレストンの２曲と全体を収録したソース２、モノラル収録ではあるがプレストンの２曲以外はほぼ収録されているソース３(どちらも現在では単体で各ソースがＣＤリリースされています)の３つの別個の音源が存在します。本作の前半部分で使用のソース３も、７５年当時の会場収録としては平均以上の好クオリティで、VGP盤でカバーされていなかったパートをしっかりと再現しています。後半部分の高音質ソースも久々にオリジナルテープからトランスファーし直され、改めてそのハイクオリティぶりに驚かされます。
一時はその音質からミラード音源とも噂されましたが、本音源は別のテーパーによるものです。ただし収録した機材はミラードとかなり近いグレードのものを使用したものと推測されます。連続公演の５日目ということでメンバーが全員がまだ３０代と若い頃ではありますが、ＭＳＧの基本セットリストからワイルド・ホース、アンコールの悪魔を憐れむ歌の２曲がオミットされたイレギュラーなセット構成となっています。
LAでのステージが公式に収録されリリースされたのとは対照的に、MSG公演は残念ながら陽の目を見ていませんが、本作では今回５日目の公演の模様を可能な限り高クオリティにて再現しました。ツアー後半のLAほどに疲れの見えないエネルギッシュなパフォーマンスも実に魅力的です。
