The 2021 version of the “NO FILTER Tour” has finally entered the climax. The latest in the series of popular multi-camera editing audience shots is back again this week. Simultaneous release of three works is decided at once!
This work is the second one. This is the “November 6, 2021 Las Vegas Performance” edition. This series is also a staple in the latest reports of the “NO FILTER Tour” every day. We have delivered video works of almost every performance. The collection has grown considerably, and it is “almost” and not “all.” Now that the tour is on the brink, let’s reorganize the collection on a schedule.

Above, all 14 performances. At the time of writing this article, the 13th performance of Austin has been completed, and 10 multi-camera edited works have appeared. Among them, the Dallas performance of this work is the 9th work in the series. Such a work is still wonderful, but the style is a little different. All the songs so far have been made to change the viewpoint like a professional shot, but this work has a different editing policy depending on the song. For example, in the first few songs, the main camera is (somehow) decided. In terms of the works so far, it is a type close to “NASHVILLE 2021: The Video”. Therefore, at first, I wondered if I was trying to speed up the release rather than the elaborateness of editing … but apparently it was Guess’s guess. After all, the main camera is unrivaled! With the flower sleeves on the left side of the stage, whether Mick is on the main stage or on the flower road, you can reach out and touch him. It looks like a professional shot from one angle, and if you get close to this point, even if you shake the camera a little to the left or right, the field of view will change drastically. You won’t get tired of seeing it without switching.
And the important thing is that the style changes as the show progresses. For example, in “19th Nervous Breakdown”, the distant view changes to the main in some songs, but in those songs, the screen is divided and two different images are played at the same time. What’s more, the distant view shot also reflects a professional shot of the on-site screen. If you look closely, it is divided into two, but at first glance it looks like it is divided into three or four. Then, in the following “Tumbling Dice”, the style will be like a multi-camera that changes the angle and roll within one song as before, and after that, the number of switching and angles will increase as the songs are repeated (actually counting). I don’t, but I feel that way). Editing that supports the sharpness of the show, rather than overwhelming from beginning to end … How far will this series evolve?
And, what is drawn with such visual beauty is a full set that can be said to be the “royal road of 2021”. Let’s organize it as usual.

In the 2021 version of “NO FILTER Tour”, there is a song “First of this year!” In almost every performance, but this day is pear. “Rocks Off” and “Ruby Tuesday” are rare, but they have already appeared on the first day of LA (10/14). Unlike the rainy Dallas performance, which was one less song, the number of songs returned to 19 songs in total, but it is a set that aims for a sense of stability (I do not know if it is because of the immediate aftermath or it has nothing to do with it). .. Another reason for making such a guess is Mick’s condition. I wonder if the dry air of Las Vegas doesn’t fit, and my voice doesn’t stretch. It was a great comeback in the next Atlanta, and I’m not worried about getting sick …
Sometimes you can experience the feeling of a special seat carefully, sometimes you change the angle to a professional shot, and sometimes you get a lot of attention with the new taste of split screen. Perhaps because of the repeated works, the desire to reveal that “there are so many images!” Has disappeared, and the overall sharpness of the show has improved. 本作は、その第二弾。「2021年11月６日ラスヴェガス公演」篇です。このシリーズは、連日の“NO FILTER Tour”最新レポートでも定番。ほとんど毎公演の映像作品をお届けしてきました。そのコレクションもだいぶ増えてきましたし、「ほとんど」であって「全部」でもない。ツアーが佳境に入ってきた今だからこそ、日程でコレクションを整理し直してみましょう。

以上、全14公演。本稿の執筆段階で13公演目のオースティンまでが終了しており、マルチカメラ編集作品も10公演分が登場しました。その中で本作のダラス公演はシリーズ９作目にあたります。そんな本作は相変わらずの見事な見応えなのですが、作風はやや異なる。これまでの諸作は全曲でプロショットばりにコロコロと視点を変えていく作りでしたが、本作は曲によって編集方針が違う。例えば、冒頭数曲ではメインカメラが（なんとなく）決まっている。これまでの作品で言いますと『NASHVILLE 2021: The Video』に近いタイプなのです。そのため、最初は編集の凝り具合よりも公開までのスピードアップを図るようになったのかな……とも思いましたが、どうやらそれはゲスの勘ぐりだった。何しろ、そのメインカメラが強烈無比！　ステージ左側の花道袖でして、ミックがメインステージにいても花道に出てきても手を伸ばせば触れられそう。まるでプロショットの１アングルかのような見応えですし、ここまで近いとカメラをちょっと左右に振っただけでも視界が激変。スイッチングがなくても見飽きないのです。
そして、重要なのはショウが進むほどに作風まで変わっていくこと。例えば「19th Nervous Breakdown」では、幾つかの曲では遠景がメインに変わるのですが、そうした曲では画面を分割し、２つの異なる映像を同時に流す編集が施されている。しかも、その遠景ショットには現場スクリーンのプロ撮影ショットも映り込んでいる。よく見れば２分割なのですが、パッと見た感じでは３つも４つも分割されているように見えるのです。そして、続く「Tumbling Dice」では従来通りに１曲内でコロコロとアングルを変えるマルチカメラらしい作風になり、その後も曲を重ねるほどにスイッチングやアングルの数が増えていく（実際にカウントはしていませんが、そう感じられるのです）。これまでのように終始圧倒するのではなく、ショウのメリハリをサポートするような編集……一体、このシリーズはどこまで進化するというのでしょうか。
そして、そんな映像美で描かれるのは、“2021年の王道”とも言えそうなフルセット。いつものように整理してみましょう。

……と、このようになっています。2021年版“NO FILTER Tour”では、ほぼ毎公演で「今年初！」という曲があるのですが、この日にはナシ。「Rocks Off」「Ruby Tuesday」辺りはレアなのですが、それもＬＡ初日（10/14）に登場済み。１曲少なかった雨のダラス公演とは違って曲数は全19曲と戻りましたが、（直後のせいなのか、まったく関係ないのか分かりませんが）安定感を狙ったようなセットなのです。そんな勘ぐりをしてしまうもう１つの理由がミックの調子。ラスヴェガスの乾燥した空気が合わないのか、どうも声に伸びがない。この次のアトランタでは見事に復活していましたし、体調不良を心配するほどでもないのですが……。
時に特等席感覚をじっくりと体験させ、時にプロショットばりにアングルを変え、時に画面分割の新味で目を引く。作品を重ねたせいか「こんなにいっぱい映像があるよ！」という顕示欲が消え、ショウ全体のメリハリまで向上している。単なるコレクションの１本としてだけでなく、進化していくオーディエンス文化の最先端まで味わえる１枚。どうぞ、存分にお楽しみください。
