December’s Children (And Everybody’s), which was released as the 5th album in the United States in December 1965, is now available as a gift item using the original US stereo version. By the way, this album uses the same jacket as the English version Out Of Our Heads, and although there are some songs that are recorded and duplicated, it has a completely different impression. Even now, it is highly evaluated as a Stones album. Although it is recorded in pseudo-stereo, only “Look What You’ve Done” is recorded in real stereo (the songs recorded in this album are a collection of songs recorded from August 1988 to September 1965. I wonder if this happened because it is a work). Of course, the other songs are pseudo-stereo, but they are processed so that they look like real stereo. In this work, the original song and the cover song are recorded in half. In the next after-mass album, which will be released on both sides of the best compilation album in the US, all songs will be Jagger / Richards’ original songs (although the songs recorded in the US and UK are still different). The gift item England’s Newest Hit Makers was so popular that the reason was that the pseudo-stereo sound used to be familiar to rock fans rather than nostalgic. This time, I would like you to enjoy December’s Children (And Everybody’s) on the original US stereo version, which is not an exaggeration to say that it is the best of the Stones US version albums. please!
65年12月に米で5thアルバムとして発売されたDecember’s Children(And Everybody’s)をオリジナルUSステレオ盤を使用してギフトアイテムとして登場です。さてこのアルバムは英盤Out Of Our Headsと同じジャケットを使用して収録曲も重複する曲もあるものの全く異なる印象のアルバムとなっています。現在においてもストーンズのアルバムとして大変な高評価を得ています。擬似ステレオでの収録なのですが「Look What You’ve Done」だけはリアルステレオでの収録となっています(このアルバム収録曲が63年8月から65年9月にかけて録音された曲を集めた作品なのでこうなってしまったのでしょうか)。その他の曲もちろんは擬似ステレオなのですがリアルステレオかと思わせる違和感のない処理がなされています。本作ではオリジナル曲とカバー曲が半々の収録となっています。USでもベスト盤を挟んで発売される次作アフターマスでは全曲がジャガー／リチャーズのオリジナル曲がオリジナルの作品になります(とは言えUSとUKでは収録曲が異なるのは相変わらずではありますが)。ギフトアイテム England’s Newest Hit Makersは大変な人気をいただきましたがその理由はかっての擬似ステレオサウンドがロックファンには懐かしのというより耳に馴染んんでいたサウンドだったのでしょうか。今回はストーンズUS盤アルバムの中でも最高作の筆頭格と言っても過言ではないDecember’s Children(And Everybody’s)をオリジナルUSステレオ盤でお楽しみいただきたいと思います。ぜひ！
