The 2021 version of the “NO FILTER Tour” has finally entered the climax. The latest in the series of popular multi-camera editing audience shots is back again this week. Simultaneous release of three works is decided at once!
This work is the first one. This is the “November 2, 2021 Dallas Performance” edition. This series is also a staple in the latest reports of the “NO FILTER Tour” every day. We have delivered video works of almost every performance. The collection has grown considerably, and it is “almost” and not “all.” Now that the tour is on the brink, let’s reorganize the collection on a schedule.

Above, all 14 performances. All that remains is the final Hollywood performance, and at the moment there are 10 multi-camera edited works. Among them, the Dallas performance of this work is the 8th work in the series, but not only the high quality but also the individuality is exceptional in the series. In fact, the Dallas performance itself was a unique show in the 2021 version of the “NO FILTER Tour”, but the cause was “rain”. The “Cotton Bowl” that became the site is a completely open space without a ceiling. It was an enthusiastic performance in the rain. And the rain pattern has a strong influence on the style of this work. Perhaps there were few photographers, the number of angles was overwhelmingly small compared to other performances. It depends on the song, but there are many cases of one turtle (in that sense, it’s similar to “NASHVILLE 2021: The Video”).
However! Still, this work is worth seeing as a professional shot. That’s because the main camera is super close-up. I’m catching it from the left side of the stage, but it’s a special seat with the front stage and the flower road right in front of me. In addition, a two-part screen will also appear this time. With a distant view shot that shows the whole view of the stage. You can enjoy various angles even on one screen by displaying screenshots taken by professionals at the same time. It is also a work that repels the lack of angles with ideas.
The beauty of the image is a full show that was also influenced by the rain. Let’s organize the set as usual.

Among them, there are two songs that first appeared in 2021, of which “Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo (Heartbreaker)” is a limited song only for this day. On the contrary, it is the third rarity of the entire “NO FILTER Tour” that has continued since 2017.
Of course, it wasn’t just short, and the enthusiasm was rich. Although there are many stories on the internet that are frozen in the cold, it is comfortable to watch in the video and only the taste of the enthusiastic performance is deliciously conveyed. In particular, Mick is more aggressive than ever, exhaling white breath and fluttering. It’s raining in this work because there are many shots in front of him … No, it’s raining that makes it possible to monopolize the hot stage.

本作は、その第一弾。「2021年11月２日ダラス公演」篇です。このシリーズは、連日の“NO FILTER Tour”最新レポートでも定番。ほとんど毎公演の映像作品をお届けしてきました。そのコレクションもだいぶ増えてきましたし、「ほとんど」であって「全部」でもない。ツアーが佳境に入ってきた今だからこそ、日程でコレクションを整理し直してみましょう。

以上、全14公演。残るは最終ハリウッド公演だけで、現時点でマルチカメラ編集作品は10公演分が登場しました。その中で本作のダラス公演はシリーズ８作目にあたるわけですが、ハイクオリティなだけでなく、個性もシリーズ中で格別。実のところ、ダラス公演自体が2021年版“NO FILTER Tour”でも個性的なショウだったわけですが、その原因は「雨」。現場となった“コットン・ボウル”は天井がない完全なオープン・スペース。降り注ぐ雨の中での熱演となったのです。そして、雨模様は本作の作風にも影響が色濃い。撮影者が少なかったのか、他公演に比べて圧倒的にアングル数が少ない。曲にもよりますが、ほとんどワンカメのケースも多いのです（その意味では『NASHVILLE 2021: The Video』と似た感じでもあります）。
しかし！　それでも本作はプロショットばりの見応えがある。それはメイン・カメラが超接写だから。ステージ左側から捉えているのですが、正面ステージも花道もすぐ目の前という特等席。さらに今回は画面の２分割も登場する。ステージ全景が分かる遠景ショットと。プロ撮影のスクリーン・ショットを同時に映し出し、１画面でも多彩なアングルが楽しめる。アングルの不足をアイディアで跳ね返した作品でもあるわけです。
そんな映像美で描かれるのは、これまた雨に影響されたフルショウ。例によってセットも整理しておきましょう。

……と、このようになっています。今回のツアーは毎晩おおよそ19曲が演奏されるのですが、この日は雨のせいか１曲少ない全18曲になりました。その中でも2021年初登場曲は２つあり、そのうち「Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo (Heartbreaker)」はこの日だけの限定曲。それどころか、2017年から続く“NO FILTER Tour”全体でも３回目というレア度です。
もちろん、単に短いわけではなく、その分熱演ぶりが濃厚。ネットの感想では寒さに凍えた話も多いものの、映像で観る分には快適で熱演の旨みだけが美味しく伝わってくる。特にミックはいつにも増してアグレッシヴで、白い息を吐きながら煽りに煽りまくる。本作は、彼の目の前ショットが多い事もあって雨なのに……いえ、雨だからこそ熱いステージを独り占めできるのです。
雨のために映像が少なく、マルチカメラ・シリーズは無理だろうと思われたダラス公演。その予測を跳ね返し、雨だからこその力作が誕生しました。コレクションの一環としてだけでなく、見応えでも個性でも格別の１枚。どうぞ、今週もじっくりとお楽しみください。
