(The following is a description of the original release.)

Even if it is not stones mania, if they are a bit familiar with rock, everyone knows that they are at their height, the 1973 European tour. Especially, there is a thing that is unbelievable in the enormous popularity in Japan. It is now time for the official to have an item called “THE BRUSSELS AFFAIR”, but for a long time I gave maniacs the tremendousness of the European tour for 73 years is the series of radio sounds that were broadcast at the time . More to speak, various items based on radio broadcasting. Because of the nature of radio, the point that it was recorded with a perfect stereo soundboard was too attractive for maniac.
The radio program “THE KING BISCUIT FLOWER HOUR” was broadcasted. Rather, starting with the stage of 73 years, thanks to a contract with Stones for a live broadcast every few years, it was the opportunity to leave the best sound quality live stereo sound board recording at the Stones of each age For mania, thankfully a radio show. We already released a broadcasting sound source from the US · Tour from 1981, but this time I will want to call it a true beat The release of the broadcast of the European Tour in two pairs of volumes!

First recorded on the first page is “THE KING BISCUIT FLOWER HOUR” (hereinafter referred to as KBFH) broadcast version of 1974. From this broadcasting TMOQ “EUROPEAN TOUR 1973”, “BEDSPRING SYMPHONY”, and the famous name board such as “God Boot” NASTY MUSIC “was produced historical broadcast. The broadcast has been done twice, September 29, 1974 and November 24, this time air checking each and it is based on the master’s cassette tape carefully kept for many years I will. Of course this appeared on the net, but unlike the monophonic recording version that appeared more recently, this is a real, clear, stereophonic sound faithful to the broadcast.
This broadcast has been blessed with a sound source that air checked the broadcast perfectly before, not only LP which the item of the highest sound quality mentioned earlier, but also “EUROPE 73” since entering the 1980s, CD titles and similar titles of the same title have been released later. However, the air check tape of this time stands outstanding in the state that it exceeds such past title as well. Of course, it is very natural, and above all, the reappearance of Charlie and Bill’s rhythm corps exceeds past items. Of course, that is just the wonder of the original sound, I do not manage anything that exaggerates in equalization in this release.
And “Happy” and “Gimme Shelter” changed to the actual live performance order. It became a recording after resolving the most uncomfortable feeling in the 74-year broadcast version.
In case of
In the 1980s, the sound source of the European tour in 1939 was rebroadcast suddenly on 27th September 1987 and 20th November, 88. Directly recorded from the KBFH broadcasting disc which recorded the latter broadcasting in this second movie. Besides reflecting the flow of the times, the board is made of CD instead of LP. CD items piled from this disc also appeared at the time and it seems that it was this time that many manias got to know the name “KBFH”.
Beyond that, it was a big topic that some takes were remixed at this time’s broadcasting, or until the first appearance take was discovered. If the 1974 edition is the power of the bottom of the rhythm squad, the 1988 edition is the beauty of clearness which seems to be the CD era. However, since this broadcast has been broadcast less than four songs from the year 74, it is summarized by editing close to the actual live content by compensating those four songs from the 74th edition. In addition, regarding “Dancing with Mr. D” which was lacking in intro, it compensated for the weak cut at the sound board recording of London on September 9 broadcasted on the same radio sound source.
In addition to the merit that the broadcast at this time is recorded long after “Angie”, this time it covers the remix version of “Brown Sugar” Brussels, First Show, which was recorded in the broadcast version of 87 years as a bonus , It is easy to cover the contents of the KBFH broadcast version of each age.
There is already a sense of being exhausted among maniacs, but in this way there are many mix differences and take differences included in the two ages, and the point that it contains a lot of different performances from the official “THE BRUSSELS AFFAIR” But still the value of these broadcasts has not faded at all. And the wonderfulness of the performance will not be touched now. Enjoy the listening comprehension of the 74 years edition that pushed out the dynamism of the band, the 88th edition that also made use of the clear and brass sounds, and the broadcast of the two historical 73 year Europe tours!
