The performance is also tight and cohesive, which seems to be the latter half of the tour. All sleeves use shots from the Boston performance. 音質はこの時期のものとしてはまずまずのレベルで、やや残響音多めのサウンドですがブート慣れした耳には充分鑑賞に堪えるものと言えます。所々マイクの向きがステージ側から逸れてしまったのかオフになる部分もありますがまぁご愛嬌。これまでの記録で演奏の確認が取れていなかったアコースティックセットの2曲も実際には演奏されていたようで「PRODIGAL SON」はテープに収められており、もう一曲の「YOU GOTTA MOVE」もラストの部分が若干ですが収められています。DISC2のセカンドショーはこれまでCD化されてきたものと同音源で、DISC1同様に24ビット96キロの高スペックの新しいトランスファーからのCD化ですので、これまで以上にクリアーな音質で聞くことができます。2本のギターがくっきりと捉えられた本ツアーの音源の中でも有数の優良な音質／バランスです。

演奏もツアー後半らしいタイトなまとまりのあるものとなっています。スリーブには全てボストン公演からのショットを使用。ひとつ前の公演地ＭＳＧではエンジニアのグリン・ジョンズによって公演の収録が行なわれていたわけですが、このボストン公演のショットを見ますとＭＳＧとは集音に使用しているマイクの機種等が異なっています。ストーンズはツアーの最終日は必ずライブ・レコーディングしてマルチ音源を残しているというのが定説ですが、ＭＳＧとはマイキング等の条件が異なっている本公演は本当にライブレコーディングされたのでしょうか。ＭＳＧとチャリティで行なわれたオルタモントの音源は映画とアルバムに使用されていますが、ボストンでの録音はいまだに1曲も出てきていません。そんな事情を推察しながら聞くこのボストン６９もまたマニアックで良いのではないでしょうか。
