Not only the live repertoire debut of “Out Of Time” that delighted enthusiasts all over the world, but also the Stones “SIXTY” tour, which has been upgraded from the US tour last fall. Because of that, even though the sound image was captured very close, the sound quality was squishy with insufficient bass. If this were the case, it would definitely have been released on CD-R rather than the quality of the press CD.
However, another enthusiast thoroughly overhauled this sound source. The finish of the equalization is incredible, and that succulent sound quality suddenly changes to the finest recording that combines thickness and power. Originally it was in a recording state where the on-sound image was outstanding, so the power of the sound pressure is also good. This is such a wonderful job, and I was really surprised at the quality that should be released on the press CD.
Therefore, it is said that “Out Of Time”, which has become the most talked-about repertoire since the start of the “SIXTY” tour, can be heard with such superb sound quality. Not to mention enthusiasts, even beginners can listen with peace of mind. This song was a big chorus at the venue on the day, but there is no such situation around the taper (there is a talk on the left channel, but it is a tiny thing), and the tour that is currently in progress You can enjoy the highlight repertoire in Japan with powerful sound quality. In addition, the “Teke Teke” phrase played by Darryl Jones at the ending of “19th Nervous Breakdown” is perfect.
Because of its quality, I mentioned only “Out Of ~” earlier, but in “Rocks Off” that appeared at the beginning of the day, there was a big laugh happening. For some reason, Keith started playing the intro of “19th Nervous Breakdown” that he had just finished playing before this song, and then hurriedly switched to “Rocks Off”, which is also called “Rocks Nervous Breakdown”. A miracle intro that makes you want to. The sound quality is superb, so you can hear the miracle at the level of devotion.
Despite this, the tension of the band is very high, and it is a place like Stones now that the performance is heated without being caught by Keith’s Miracle Intro. It seems to be his greatest achievement that the up-tempo number came back to life with the addition of Steve Jordan, but it is the same with “Rocks Off”. Although it was a repertoire that was shown on the tour last fall, it was a masterpiece live version called Miracle Intro, while the workmanship was further improved.
Also, “Ruby Tuesday” was selected as the voting song in Munich on this day, but it is also attractive that it is a petite Brian period corner because it was played after “Out Of Time”. With the addition of Steve, the Brian period numbers are being picked up one after another, and you can see that the composition is also continuing to be upgraded. Moreover, “Connection” was the first appearance on this tour at Keith Corner on that day, and Munich was even more Brian.
Also, as you can see in the video of “MADRID 2022” this tour, even in the regular repertoire that has been played for many years, it was even moving to see Stones devoting himself to the performance. “Jumping Jack Flash” is a wonderful performance on the day. After all, the sound image is close, so you can see Keith immersing himself in the backing, and Mick fully opens the engine on the tough performance. This is the beginning of the tour, and it’s a stage by elderly members, so it’s scary, and I can’t help but look forward to the future.

世界中のマニアを狂喜させた「Out Of Time」のライブレパートリー・デビューはもちろん、昨年秋のアメリカツアーからさらにバージョンアップを遂げた演奏が話題のストーンズ「SIXTY」ツアー。まだ行程はスケジュールの序盤が消化されたに過ぎませんが、既に素晴らしい演奏内容からアイテムのリリースを待ち望んでいるマニアがたくさんおられるのでは。
その先陣を切ったのがツアー初日の映像＆音源セット「MADRID 2022」でしたが、リリース時に申しましたように、音源の方は2022年のオーディエンスとしてはちょっときびしめなクオリティ。よって限定プレスCDに相応しい、質の高いオーディエンス・アルバムの登場はまだかと待ちわびていたはずかと。
遂にその先陣を切ってくれるのはツアー二日目のミュンヘン。そのネット上に現れたオーディエンス録音なのですが、何と懐かしのMDを使ってマニアが録音したというもの。そのせいでせっかく音像が非常に近くに捉えていたにもかかわらず、低音域不足のスカスカな音質。このままでしたら到底プレスCDのクオリティではなく、間違いなくCD-Rでのリリースとなってしまったことでしょう。
ところが、別のマニアがこの音源を徹底的にオーバーホール。そのイコライズの仕上がりは信じられないほどで、あのスッカスカな音質が厚みと迫力を兼ね備えた極上録音へと豹変。元々オンな音像ぶりが際立つ録音状態でしたので、その音圧の迫力もマシマシ。これはあまりにも見事な仕事ぶりといえ、正にプレスCDでリリースされるべきクオリティには本当に驚かされました。
よって「SIXTY」ツアーが始まってから最大の話題を呼ぶレパートリーと化した「Out Of Time」がこのような極上音質で聞けるという。もはやマニアはおろか、初心者でも安心して聞きこめる素晴らしさ。本曲が当日の会場では大合唱となっていたのですが、何とテーパーの周りではそのような状況になく（ちと左チャンネルでお喋りが入りますが、それとて微塵なもの）、なおさら現在進行中ツアーにおける目玉レパートリーを迫力たっぷりな音質で楽しめる。おまけに「19th Nervous Breakdown」のエンディングでダリル・ジョーンズが弾いた「テケテケ」フレーズもばっちり。
そのクオリティ故、先に「Out Of～」の事ばかり触れてしまいましたが、この日の序盤に登場した「Rocks Off」では大爆笑のハプニングが。どうしたことかキースはこの曲の前に演奏し終えたばかりの「19th Nervous Breakdown」のイントロを再び弾き始めてしまい、そこから慌てて「Rocks Off」に切り替えるという、まるで「Rocks Nervous Breakdown」とでも呼びたくなるようなミラクル・イントロ。音質が極上ですので、そのミラクルぶりが捧腹絶倒レベルで聞きこめてしまう。
にもかかわらずバンドのテンションは非常に高く、キースのミラクル・イントロに釣られることなく演奏が白熱しているのも今のストーンズらしいところ。スティーブ・ジョーダンの加入によってアップテンポ系ナンバーが息を吹き返したのは彼の最大の功績と言えるかと思われますが、それは「Rocks Off」にしても同様。昨年秋のツアーでも披露されていたレパートリーではありますが、その出来栄えがさらに上がったという中にあって、なおかつあのミラクル・イントロという傑作ライブバージョンでした。
またミュンヘンの投票ソングはこの日「Ruby Tuesday」が選ばれたのですが、これが「Out Of Time」の次に演奏されたことでプチ・ブライアン期コーナーとなっているのも魅力的。スティーブの加入によってブライアン期ナンバーが続々と取り上げられている中、その構成もバージョンアップし続けていることが解ります。しかもこの日のキース・コーナーは「Connection」が今回のツアーでは最初の登場を果たしており、なおさらミュンヘンはブライアン色が強まっていたのでした。
また今回のツアーは「MADRID 2022」の映像でも垣間見られたように、長年に渡って演奏されてきたレギュラー・レパートリーでもストーンズが演奏に打ち込んでいる姿が感動的ですらあったのですが、この日は「Jumping Jack Flash」が見事な出来栄え。何しろ音像が近いので、キースがバッキングに没頭している様子が伝わってきますし、その強靭な演奏に乗ってミックがエンジン全開。これがツアー序盤、おまけに高齢なメンバーによるステージだというのだから末恐ろしくもあり、また今後を期待せずにはいられません。
ツアー二日目にしてこれほどまでに充実の演奏ぶりを届けてくれたストーンズの最新ライブから初の限定プレスCDリリース。何と言ってもスカスカMDレコーディングを信じられないほどのクオリティで生まれ変わらせてくれたマニアの手腕には頭が下がります。最新「SIXTY」ツアーから遂に実現するプレスCDにしていきなりの極上オーディエンス・アルバム。みんな大好き「Out Of Time」を始めとした最新ストーンズの素晴らしいステージングを心ゆくまでお楽しみください。グッジョブ！
