Charlie’s news that the world was sad. Still, as originally announced, the rolling that started the tour with Steve Jordan worked on the contrary, and there was no spectator making noise around. Ode Stones, who is enthusiastic under vaccination, will be the first live performance of Corona. This time, the original was an audience recording that first appeared on the internet, but this is a quality that is really easy to hear. It is not strange that the sound image has a sense of distance and the ence is near the taper.
Fortunately, the surroundings of this sound source are surprisingly quiet. Thanks to that, it was recorded with a balance that I could not hope to hear the first day of the 2021 Stones tour that finally started. Certainly, it is not in a recording state that can be described as a “sound board”, but if it is in this clear and calm recording state, even beginners may be able to fully enjoy it.
The set list to be worried about started with a surprising pattern of “Street Fighting Man” from the opening, and the Stones classics of the mid-1960s such as “Under My Thumb” and “19th Nervous Breakdown” were shown in quick succession from the first half of the live. In addition, the new song “Living In A Ghost Town”, which was released when Corona expanded a year ago, is fully included in the repertoire.
Other than that, it’s been a long time since the tour, and since it’s the first day, I feel that the repertoire has been safely put together regarding the selection of songs after the middle of the live. Since it was Steve’s first day as a drummer on behalf of Charlie (although he actually did an event-like live once), what kind of 2021 mode he and the members of Stones had in the familiar repertoire. Did you show off your performance? That will focus on the perspectives of fans around the world.
For that reason, it can only be said that the unique ease of listening to this sound source is a big attraction. After all it is a very big advantage that the circumference of the taper is not noisy. Still, there is no trouble that the sound fluctuates. An excellent sound source that allows you to listen to the first day of the 2021 tour in a stable state from beginning to end.
The American tour that Stones after Charlie’s death showed off, which is a hot topic among maniacs all over the world. 世界中が悲しみに暮れたチャーリーの訃報。それでも当初の発表通りスティーブ・ジョーダンを迎えてツアーをスタートさせたローリングたことが逆に功を奏し、周囲で騒ぐ観客が皆無だという。コロナ禍で初めて実現したライブともなれば、ワクチン接種下で熱狂するオーデ・ストーンズ。これまた世界中が気になるであろう初日の模様をCD-Rならではの機動力で速攻リリース！
今回元にしたのはネット上にいち早く現れたオーディエンス録音なのですが、これが実に聞きやすいクオリティ。少し距離感のある音像であっィエンスがテーパーの近くにいたとしてもおかしくない。
ところが幸運なことに今回の音源の周囲が驚くほど静か。おかげで遂に始まった2021年ストーンズのツアー初日を聞きこむには願ってもないバランスで録音されていたのです。確かに「まるでサウンドボード」と形容されるような録音状態ではありませんが、このクリアーで落ち着いた録音状態であれば、初心者でも十分に楽しめるのではないかと。
気になるセットリストもオープニングからして「Street Fighting Man」という意表を突くパターンから始まり、「Under My Thumb」に「19th Nervous Breakdown」といった60年代半ばのストーンズ・クラシックがライブ前半から立て続けに披露。また一年前にコロナが拡大したタイミングでリリースされた新曲「Living In A Ghost Town」も満を持してレパートリー入り。
それ以外は久々のツアーであり、しかも初日ということもあってライブ中盤以降の選曲に関してはレパートリーを無難にまとめ上げている感じがします。ドラマーがチャーリーに代わってスティーブが務めた初日（実際には一度イベント的なライブをこなしていますが）ということもあり、やり慣れたレパートリーの中で彼やストーンズのメンバーがどのような2021モードの演奏を披露してくれていたのか？ということに世界中のファンの視点が集中することでしょう。
それだけに今回の音源の独特な聞きやすさは大きな魅力だとしか言いようがない。やはりテーパーの周囲が騒がしくないというのは非常に大きなアドバンテージ。それでいて音がふらつくようなトラブルとも皆無。終始安定した状態で2021年ツアーの初日を聞きこめる優秀音源。
世界中のマニアの間で話題を呼んでいる、チャーリー亡き後のストーンズが敢行してみせたアメリカ・ツアー。その初日となったステージにおいて彼の後を引き継いだ新ドラマー、スティーブはストーンズの楽曲に対してどのようなアプローチで叩いてみせたのか？チャーリーのプレイとはどのような違いがあるのか？これからも様々な音源や映像が登場するかと思われますが、まずはCD-Rによる速攻リリースにて歴史的な一夜をあなたの耳で確かめてください！
