Over all, 8 performances. I did not introduce any adequate recordings from Dublin Ireland, Glasgow in Scotland, but since I moved to England, I did not know it. This work ‘s Liverpool performance is its first show, it is a live album that is the last essay of the four England stages.
Roger now leaves the UK and has returned to the continent of Europe, and it has been a while since the UK tour. Of course, this work was not merely a missing release, it is a recording that appeared late. The sound recording company may have been running around to the public, but the sound of this work is a business that is released only when it is delayed. What is wonderful than anything is a brilliant ringing with neatness. Even in the modern rock world, it is natural that only “US + THEM” at the top level is “just like a soundboard”. This work is also wonderful in that respect. Although it is picking up the venue acoustics, it is transparent, it does not cause cloudiness or turbidity. In addition to that beautiful sound, the extremely small audience noise is also wonderful. To tell the truth, this time British recording had a lot of recordings that are a little concerned with the speech. The breath feeling of the real venue is also breathed in this work, but it is small and modestly small. Although you can enjoy plenty of cheers and delicious applause that can occur with interaction between songs and grandiose director, magnificent music can concentrate on details till the details. When drawn with such a sound, “US + THEM” sounds more tight. The set has already reached completion, and the England 4 shows are not supposed to be tremor. 現在ロジャーはイギリスを離れてヨーロッパ大陸に戻っており、UKツアーからもしばらく時間が経っている。もちろん、本作は単にリリース漏れだったのではなく、遅れて登場してきた録音です。録音家は公開に逡巡していたのかも知れませんが、本作のサウンドは遅れてでも公開されるだけはある業物。何よりも素晴らしいのは、端正にして艶やかな鳴り。現代ロック界でも頂点的な高水準の“US + THEM”だけに「まるでサウンドボード」なのは当たり前。芯がシッカリとオンで、ディテールが詳細なのも当然。その上で優劣を競うのは「いかに鳴りが美しいか」になる。本作は、その点でも極めて素晴らしい。会場音響も拾ってはいるものの、それが透き通っており、曇りや濁りを起こさない。ちょっとしたシンバルのカウント、ささやかな語りSEも輪郭までクッキリとしている。そのクリアさをキープしつつ、中音域は手応えたっぷりで高音はどこまでも綺麗に伸びる。
そんなサウンドで描かれると、“US + THEM”は一層引き締まって聞こえる。すでにセットは完成の域に達しており、イングランド4公演は微動だにしていない。その意味で驚きや新味はないのですが、クリスタル・クリアな鳴りで没入するPINK FLOYDナンバーの厳然とした佇まいとスペクタクルが素晴らしい。ドラムの一打一打が鋭く、SEの数々が世界を組み上げ、シンセが縦横無尽に飛び交う。そして、その世界に感嘆し、どよめく観客の息づかいが沸き上がっては消えてゆく。圧倒的な音楽の波に翻弄される空間に、全身で浸りきれる。まさにオーディエンス録音の王道を究めるようなライヴアルバムなのです。

5年ぶりに故郷に帰ってきたロジャー・ウォーターズ。歴史的な意義も深い『HYDE PARK 2018』も人気ですが、屋内会場で“US + THEM”本来の輝きを放っているのは間違いなく本作です。イングランド4公演のコレクションを完璧にするだけでなく、“2018年の英国”を代表するライヴアルバムでもある。遅れても公開せずにはいられなかった録音者の気持ちが痛いほど分かる美音の1本。どうぞ、存分にご堪能ください。
