2014年サマーソニックのステージに登場したロバート・プラントの8月16日幕張公演を録音者より提供されたオリジナル・マスターより、最高音質で完全収録。既にWardourレーベルから幕張・大阪公演の決定盤２枚組「SUMMER SONIC 2014」がリリースされているので、「何故に、このタイミングで幕張公演をリリースするのか？」とお思いでしょうが、それは聴いて頂ければお判りになると思います。Wardourレーベルの幕張公演よりも本盤の方が音が倍くらい近く、音質も倍くらい良いです。大袈裟に言ってるのではないことは、繰り返しですが聴けば納得されると思います。この音の近さは尋常ではありません。ダイレクト感、パンチ、スケール感、そしてロック本来の荒々しさ・生々しさ（決してキレイ過ぎないと言った意味で）その全てが最上位にある録音音源です。勿論、Wardourレーベル音源も言うことなしの満点音源だと思います。端正で見事なクリアネスを誇るサウンドです。しかし、本盤は、本当にとにかく凄いのです。Wardour盤を入手されたファンの方が無理に本作を入手される必要はないと思います。しかし、興味があるのなら、是非聴いてみて下さい。聴いた誰もが「これは凄い…」とスピーカーの前で唖然とししまうことは必至です。ただ本音源には欠点があり、部分的ではありますが、風がマイクにあたるゴソゴソと言う音が入ってしまっていることです。静かな部分ではそれが目立つところもあります。それでもこのサウンドボードみたいに太く豊かなサウンドはファン必聴と言えます。ステージの内容に関しては、既に語られていることゆえ細かいことは避けますが、この音で聴く最新プラントの幕張公演は本当に凄いとしか言いようがありません。マニアの方は是非！限定プレスCDでお楽しみ下さい。
