London on March 12, 1977, the definitive video title of Procol Harum in the late 70’s, recorded a super high-quality version of the BBC music program “SIGHT & SOUND IN CONCERT” recorded in the Hippodrome. It was a professional shot video when the 10th work “Something Magic” was released, and it was a familiar video from before, but this work contains a high-quality version of the official version that was digitally rebroadcast on BBC4 in recent years. You can enjoy the precious live performance of this period with the high image quality of the master itself, which is different from many existing concerts, has no analog deterioration, and is seen for the first time. Wizard Man is being played as a new song at the time, and other than that, a set that covers their representative songs is assembled, and a short but dense and tasty performance will be developed within the 30-minute frame. 70年代後期プロコル・ハルムの決定的映像タイトルである、1977年3月12日のロンドンはヒッポドロームで収録されたBBC音楽番組「SIGHT & SOUND IN CONCERT」の超高画質ヴァージョンを収録。10作目「Something Magic」リリース時のプロショット映像で、以前よりお馴染みの映像でしたが、本作は近年BBC4でデジタル再放送された公式版レベルの高画質ヴァージョンを収録。幾多の既発とは一線を画す、アナログ劣化の一切ない、初めて目にする、マスターそのものの高画質で、この時期の貴重なライブを堪能することができます。当時の新曲としてWizard Manが演奏されており、それ以外は、彼らの代表曲を網羅するセットが組まれており、30分枠の中で、短いながらも濃密かつ味わい深いパフォーマンスが展開されます。時代はニューウェイヴが台頭し、彼らのような伝統に根ざしたクラシカルなブリティッシュ・バンドには苦難の時期のライブですが、永遠の普遍性を感じさせるゲイリー・ブルッカーのボーカル、オルガンそしてミック・グラハム、脱退直前のクリス・コッピングらの奏でる完成度の高い充実のアンサンブルプレイの見事さに、ファンならずとも、ただただ見入ってしまうことでしょう。内容・画質、パーフェクトな一枚。オリジナル・メニュー付。
