From the 1974 British Winter Tour, the definitive board for the third day of the Wembley performance has arrived! ★ Includes 2 types of audience sources and the familiar SB source! ★ Disc1-3 Audience part is the first live complete recording version by supplementing the sub source From the 1974 UK tour, a 6-disc decisive board that completely recorded the performance on the third day of Wembley on November 16th! Since this performance on the 16th has an SB sound source by BBC, it has been made into a vinyl record since the analog era. Also, in recent years, live takes from this Wembley performance have been distributed and recorded in the official Immersion Box (Echoes is Early Years Box) of “Insanity” and “Flame”, but apparently the performance on the 16th. It seems that it is an edited version centered on the live take of the performance on the 15th the day before, and depending on the song, there are obvious replacements and edits in the song, and there is still value in the existence of the iron wall recording version on its own each day. .. Moreover, regarding the performance on the 16th, perhaps because of the harmful effects of repeated releases on the BBC sound source, when it comes to items that capture the whole picture of this live, there are surprisingly few releases, and this time it has been a long time since it appeared. This is the first complete recording of the performance on the 16th! Discs 1-5 are recorded in the best version with the longest and highest sound quality ever, making full use of the two existing Aud sound sources (not the net). Disc 6 contains the best BBC version. “Insanity” is surprisingly recorded in the complete version (* the reason will be described later)! First of all, it is the Aud sound source part of the 1st-5th sheets, but for convenience, Rec # 1 is recorded on the 1st-3rd sheets, and Rec # 2 is recorded on the 4th-5th sheets. Features of two Aud sound sources (subjective) ・ Rec # 1 (Disc1-3 main recording) The longest recorded sound source for this performance including Echoes. Although it is a stereo recording with a slight sense of distance and a moody texture, it has a very realistic sound, and when you listen to it with headphones, you can enjoy the atmosphere of the venue, and the vividness of the effect sound during “crazy” performance is tremendous. recording. “Any Color You Like” has the only cut in the song. There are other cuts between songs, but instead of that, it is surprising that the part before the heartbeat SE before the start of the “madness” performance (although it is just Odin noise) is recorded for quite a long time. A valuable point that cannot be heard. (* In most items, the heartbeat of “madness” is faded in, so it’s valuable to record before that.) This time, the missing “Any Color” and the intervals between songs were supplemented with Rec # 2 to realize complete recording of all songs. In addition, a matrix version of “Echoes” is recorded as a bonus at the end of the third piece. This is not a net matrix, but a unique matrix with Rec # 1 sound source and SB sound source. ・ Rec # 2 (Disc4-5 main recording) Compared to Rec # 1, the stereo feeling is modest, but the punch and sharpness of the performance is higher here. I wonder if some people like this because they can hear the performance clearly. “Speak To Me” is cut in, and “Echoes” is not included. Therefore, it consists of two discs, Disc 4-5, but there are no other cuts in the song. This time, the Echoes part that was not originally recorded is Omit, and the lack from the live start to “madness” is filled with Rec # 1 and all songs up to “madness” are recorded. As mentioned above, the part of Disc 1-5 is that the two types of sound sources complement each other and the two types of Aud best versions are recorded. In addition, both are not net sound sources, but the MC of the moderator (?) Of the live start of Rec # 2 is recorded for a long time, although it is less than 3 seconds. The SB sound source recorded on the 6th piece was based on the BBC Archives 1974 sound source by HRV, which is familiar even if it has already been released. You might think that this is all, but most of the titles lack the register sound of this BBC sound source, “Money” intro. The presence or absence of f * c * in in “Speak To Me” is often referred to, but the number of register sounds in the “Money” intro is probably not mentioned in the past. Is not it. This time, the register sound is precisely supplemented with another master (not the net). Therefore, the BBC sound source is also recorded with the best sound quality and “madness” completed version. In addition, there is no lack of voice when switching from “Speak To Me” to “Breathe”, which was seen in some existing cases. Due to the recording time, the interval between songs of “Insanity” and “Echoes” is a little shorter, but the performance part is definitely the longest recording on this board. In other words, this 6th CD is the definitive board that allows you to listen to the BBC sound source of the performance on the 16th from “madness” to “Echoes” with the highest sound quality on one CD. Finally, compare the sound source recorded in the Immersion box with the sound source on the 16th of the main board with Zakuri. (* It’s just a click) In the Immersion Box take, ・ The mix, balance, and texture of the sound are very different throughout. ・ Audience noise that cannot be heard on the BBC sound source (match / mismatch with the Aud sound source is unknown) is heard a lot. * Intentional overdubbing to add a sense of presence? ?? -The connection from “Speak To Me” to “Breath” has been edited short (there isn’t a slight “pause” that should actually be). ・ The “Time” intro (from around 0:27 on this CD time) is thicker with the addition of a studio-take-style bass “Jaan”. -The vocal part of “Time” Rick Wright (from around 2:35 on this CD time) will be replaced with another sound source. * Here, the localization of the Box sound source will be different, so you can immediately see the difference from the BBC sound source. In addition, even with the BBC sound source and Aud sound source on the day, it is unknown whether this part is a problem with the effect equipment at the time of PA out, but there is a problem that the performances do not match each other. In Aud, Rick seems to have missed the start of singing, and the performance and vocals (as if it was delayed) are a mysterious part that sounds different. ・ The intro piano of “The Great Gig In The Sky” is completely different. In Box, it’s similar to a studio-take piano. However, the backing guitar sounds the same as on the 16th. After the intro, the piano sounds the same as on the 16th. ・ After “Money” According to the discussion on the internet, it will be performed on the 15th after “Money”. The actual length of the performance is completely different from the take on the 16th. Besides, “Any Color You Like” also has a big difference in the length of the performance, and it seems clear that it is not the take on the 16th. ・ Although it is a take on the 16th of “Echoes”, the bass performance mistakes seen at the end of the game (playing mistakes around 17:27 on the 6th and 12th songs of this edition) have been replaced. ·others “Shine On You Crazy Diamond” It’s almost like a performance on the 16th. “Raving And Drooling” It seems to be a performance on the 16th, but the SE that the intro is screaming is omitted in Box. “You Gotta Be Crazy” You can see the mysterious sound heard around 5:24 CD time in Box.
・その他 「Shine On You Crazy Diamond」概ね16日の演奏ぽい。 「Raving And Drooling」16日の演奏っぽいがイントロのしゃべくるSEがBoxではオミットされている。 「You Gotta Be Crazy」CDタイム5:24付近で聞こえる謎音がBoxでもうっすらと確認できる。
