Pink Floyd / Atom Heart Mother Hamburg 1971 3rd Gen / 1Single CDR / Non Label
Grosser Saal Musikhalle, Hamburg, Germany 25th February 1971
Includes the upper version of the tape source of Atom Heart Mother from the Hamburg performance on February 25, 1971. (Originally a 3rd Gen tape copied to Maxell XLIII-S) By faithfully playing the tape recorded in Dolby on Dolby On, I get the impression that the sound quality is more appropriate and clear. As a take of Atom Heart Mother in Hamburg, it can be said that the sound quality of this board is the best. This tape was originally Atom Heart Mother’s main part only, and the reply part was an unpaid 29-minute take, so in the latter half, we also added a high-quality audience recording take of the reply part that appeared two years ago. (There is a cut between songs in the main part and the reply, but considering the importance of the sound source, it is recorded here without any processing such as crossfade.) A maniac that appeared via the net recently. A new version of AHM 3RD GEN, which is a hot topic among people. Really great sound quality. Enjoy Floyd’s historic performance with the best sound.
