A high-quality compilation of Paul Simon’s television performances from the 1970s to 1992 on a high-quality sound board. The audio when appearing in the children’s program “Sesami Street” recorded at the beginning is valuable. The part where Simon sings the Beatles Get Back with his child is rare. After that, performance takes at successive Grammy Awards will continue, but all the nostalgic performances of Simon, who was a regular at the Grammy Awards for a while, are recorded with perfect sound quality. (Four songs from Sesame Street appearance, as well as performances at the Grammy Awards in 1976, 1981, 1987, and 1992) And finally, satellite broadcast from New York in the 1990 NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen. “Bridge over tomorrow” is recorded. I’m playing in the reggae version, but I can’t miss the nostalgic scenes such as Paul’s message to Japan before the performance started.
1970年代から1992年にかけてのポール・サイモンのテレビ演奏を高音質サウンドボードで収録した高品質コンピレーション。冒頭に収録された子供番組「Sesami Street」への出演時の音声は貴重。サイモンが子供と一緒にビートルズのGet Backを歌うパートはレア。その後は歴代のグラミー賞での演奏テイクが続きますが、一時期はグラミー賞の常連だったサイモンの懐かしい演奏がどれも完璧な音質で収録されています。（セサミストリート出演時のパフォーマンスを4曲、さらには76年、81年、87年、92年のグラミー授賞式におけるパフォーマンスをそれぞれ収録）そして最後に90年のNHK紅白歌合戦でニューヨークより衛星放送された「明日に架ける橋」を収録しています。レゲエ・バージョンで演奏していますが、しかし、それ以上に演奏が始まる前にポールが語りかけた日本へのメッセージなど、懐かしさいっぱいの場面が聞き逃せません。
