It is a famous performance with the title of the famous board “WINGS FROM THE WINGS” from the analog LP era, but in this board, the missing part is mainly analog LP from the best stereo audience recording from the mirrored original master that was finally released. Compensated with (* sound source different from mirrored). Furthermore, the parts that cannot be covered by the analog board are covered with the third sound source (monaural Aud) on this day, achieving the longest recording ever!

The mirrored sound source of this performance is different from the sound source of the LP record, and it was first made into a CD in the 1990s. It appeared from the ancient famous label Dynamite Studio, and until a while ago, the distribution of mirrored sound sources was limited, so there were surprisingly few release updates, and a copy board from that Dynamite board also appeared around 2003. Did.

This time, the remaster is done based on the mirrored master released by JEMS. In the original sound source, the low range was weak and the overall sound was thin, and the texture was poorly removed, but by adjusting the band properly, the sound quality became better, and the sound image became large and thick and well-balanced. This clearly increases the ease of listening, and although there is a slight increase in hiss due to the adjustment, it is arguably the best sound quality ever.

All the compensation is between songs, but there are 5 locations, of which 3 are compensation from the LP board, which is directly digitized from the “WINGS FROM THE WINGS” LP and carefully removes scratch noise. There is almost no problem with the joints because the sound and tone are corrected and then compensated.
Also, regarding this famous LP, it seems that the two songs “Call Me Back Again” and “Beware My Love” were recorded from the performance on the 22nd of the previous day instead of the 23rd (* LP shows these). There are cuts before and after the song, there are changes in sound quality, and above all, the performance is different from the 23rd). Also, although it is a part of this LP, there are parts between songs that have a shorter recording time than the mirrored master, and it seems that there are parts that can not be compensated from the LP board. Therefore, for those parts that are difficult to cover with LP (* 2 places), in this title, it is covered from the monaural audience sound source, which is the third sound source of the day. Since the main mirrored is stereo, there is some difference in sound quality due to monaural compensation, but this definitely achieves the longest recording ever. By the way, the compensation before the last “Soily” of the main story (compensation from LP) is the applause part waiting for the encore, but it lasts for more than 1 minute.

The third Disc is an extra disc, which contains the sound board sound source and excerpts from the LP. The sound board sound source part is a copy remaster from the existing Midas Touch board with a recording of about 58 minutes, but it has been carefully restored, first the pitch that was low overall was corrected, and then the sound of the “Rock Show” head The first uncut restoration with the elimination of duplication. In addition, “Time To Hide”, which was recorded in a strange position although it is a fragment, has been rearranged in chronological order.
The LP raising part at the end of the third piece (* the tape that was the source of the LP has not been distributed yet) is also carefully scratch noise removed, pitch adjusted, and tone correction, and while picking up only a few songs, it is unique to LP. It has a firm and firm sound with a taste, and you can fully enjoy the texture that is different from the mirrored sound source. Also, “Blackbird”, which was missing for some reason in the fan titles on the net, is recorded uncut because it is properly raised from the LP here.

’76年6月23日有名公演がミラード・オリジナル・マスターのベストタイトルで登場！
アナログLP時代から名盤『WINGS FROM THE WINGS』のタイトルで有名な公演ですが、今回盤では、遂に公開されたミラード・オリジナル・マスターからの極上ステレオ・オーディエンス録音をメインに、欠落部をアナログLP(＊ミラードとは別音源)で補填。さらにアナログ盤で補填しきれない箇所はこの日3つ目の音源(モノラルAud)で補填し、過去最長収録を実現！

本公演のミラード音源はLPレコードの音源とは別のものであり、’90年代になり初CD化。いにしえの名レーベルDynamite Studioからの登場であり、ちょっと前までは、ミラード音源の流通も限定的のため、意外なほどリリース更新も少なく、そのDynamite盤からのコピー盤も2003年頃に登場したりもしました。

今回はJEMSにより公開されたミラード・マスターをもとにリマスターがなされております。元の音源では低域が弱く全体に薄っぺらく、抜けの悪い質感だったものですが、帯域が適切に調整されたことで抜けが良くなり、また音像が大きく厚みのあるバランスの良いサウンドになったことで聞きやすさが明らかに増し、調整による若干のヒスの増加はありますが、間違いなく過去最高の音質と言えるでしょう。

補填は全て曲間の補填になりますが、5箇所におよび、そのうちLP盤からの補填は3箇所であり、そこは『WINGS FROM THE WINGS』LPからダイレクトにデジタル化、丁寧にスクラッチノイズの除去や音色の補正がなされた上で補填されているため、繋ぎ目は殆ど問題なし。
また、この有名LP盤ですが、「Call Me Back Again」と「Beware My Love」の2曲については、23日ではなく前日22日公演からの収録となっているようです(＊LPではこれらの曲前後でカットがあり、音質の変化もあり、またなによりも演奏が23日とは異なる)。また、このLPでは一部分ですが、ミラードマスターよりも収録時間の短い曲間部分もあり、LP盤からの補填ができない箇所もあるようです。よってそれらLPでの補填が難しい箇所(＊2箇所)については、今回のタイトルではこの日の3つ目の音源となるモノラルのオーディエンス音源からの補填となっております。メインのミラードがステレオのためモノラル補填による音質差もいくぶん生じていますが、これにより、間違いなく過去最長の収録が実現しております。ちなみに本編ラスト「Soily」前の補填(LPからの補填)は、アンコール待ちの拍手部分ですが1分以上にも及ぶもの。

3枚目のDiscはエクストラディスクとなり、サウンドボード音源とLPからの抜粋が収録されています。サウンドボード音源部分は58分ほどの収録で既発Midas Touch盤からのコピーリマスターですが、丁寧なレストアがなされており、まず全体に低かったピッチを修正、さらに「Rock Show」アタマの音声のダブリが解消し初のノーカット復旧。また断片ながらおかしな位置に収録されていた「Time To Hide」が時系列に配置しなおされています。
3枚目終盤のLP起こし部分(＊LPのもととなったテープは未だ流通していません)も丁寧なスクラッチノイズ除去とピッチ調整、音色補正がなされ、数曲のみのピックアップながらLP独自の味のあるゴリっとした硬めのサウンドであり、ミラード音源とは異なる質感がたっぷり堪能できます。またネットのファンタイトルではなぜか欠落の生じていた「Blackbird」も、ここではLPからきちんと起こされているためノーカット収録です。
