UP AND COMING TOUR, which began in 2010, became a long-term tour through the year contrary to the original expectation. The set list which adopted Wings’ s songs greatly became a topic, and it was this tour that Paul’s concert further increased its depth. The highlight of this UP AND COMING TOUR will be 5 shows organized in South America in November 2010. Particularly in Buenos Aires in Argentina and Sao Paulo in Brazil, concerts were held at a huge stadium in front of two consecutive performances and enthusiastic audiences in South America respectively.

This work is a set of complete board footage of Pro Shot video in addition to the tour recorded its second Argentina day, the concert on 11th November 2010 with a perfect sound board sound source. Until now UP AND COMING TOUR had released a Mexican show from Soundboard and Proshot’s set “HOLA CUIDAD DE MEXICO !, HOLA CHILANGOS !!! 【3 CD + 2 DVD]” from the same label, but this work Overall quality is complete recording. First of all, it is a CD of Discs 1 and 2. And the best feature of this day is “BLUEBIRD” recorded in Wings ‘BAND ON THE RUN’. I played the 1976 tour for the last 24 years without playing it, I played it for the first time in quarter century. 2010年に始まったUP AND COMING TOURは、当初の予想に反して年間を通した長期のツアーとなった。ウイングスの曲を大幅に採り入れたセットリストは話題となり、ポールのコンサートが一段と深みを増したのが、このツアーであった。このUP AND COMING TOURのハイライトは、2010年11月では南米にて組まれた5公演であろう。特にアルゼンチンのブエノスアイレスとブラジルのサンパウロの2都市では、それぞれ2連続公演、南米の熱狂的な聴衆を前に、巨大スタジアムでコンサートが行なわれたのである。

本作はツアーそのアルゼンチン二日目、2010年11月11日のコンサートを、完璧なサウンドボード音源で収録したものに加え、プロショット映像の完全盤映像のセットである。これまでUP AND COMING TOURからはメキシコ公演がサウンドボードとプロショットのセット『HOLA CUIDAD DE MEXICO!, HOLA CHILANGOS!!! 【3CD+2DVD】』として同レーベルからリリースされていたが、本作はそれを上回るクオリティで完全収録である。同レーベルからは、アルゼンチンの初日をサウンドボード＋プロショットで収録したセットがリリースされているが、本作はその翌日、アルゼンチンの二日目、2010年11月11日のコンサートになる。

まずはディスク１と２のCDである。今までの南米の流出モノはほとんどモノラルか、それに近い分離の悪いものがほとんどであったが、本作に収録の音源はシャキッと粒が立った完璧なステレオ・サウンドボード。この音質は驚きだ。ネット上では音の悪いモノラル音声のプロショット映像が出回っていますが、本作とはもちろん比べ物にならない。これほどの音質は今までなかったと言っても過言ではない。残念ながら「I’ve Just Seen A Face」と「Mrs Vandebilt」の、それぞれ曲の始めが少し欠落しているが、当日の初登場高音質オーディエンスソースで補っており、違和感なく通して聴くことができる。この2か所以外は完璧に収録している。何度も繰り返すが、シャキッと粒立ちステレオ・サウンドボードで、今まで聴いたことのないような美しいピッカピカのサウンドボード音源である。

アルゼンチンでは2連続公演ということで、初日とはセットリストを変えているため、その点にも着目して聴いてみて欲しい。アルゼンチン初日は「Venus And Mars」のメドレーで開幕する定番のオープニングであったが、この日のオープニングはなんと「Magical Mystery Tour」。両日来てくれる人に配慮してかその他もセットリストを初日と変えているのだろう。ノリが尋常でない「Letting Go」、そして歌詞がハチャメチャな「And I Love Her」など、聴きどころ多数。何より熱い南米のファンの熱狂がこのコンサートを特 別なものにしているといえる。

そしてこの日の目玉曲は、何といってもウイングス『BAND ON THE RUN』に収録の「BLUEBIRD」である。1976年のツアーを最後に24年間演奏されることのなかったこの曲を、実に四半世紀ぶりにステージで演奏したのである。この一曲だけでも本作の価値あるレア・ナンバー、それもサウンドボード収録なのだ。あまりセットに変化がないと言われているポールのコンサートだが、同一公演地の連続公演においては、このように意図的にセットリストに変化を加えている。しかもそれが「Bluebird」というレア・ナンバーであるところ、このアルゼンチン連続公演は特別である。コンサートの最後では、これまた珍しい、ポールのみならず、メンバー全員がマイクに立って別れの挨拶をする様子も収録されている。

ディスク３は、この日のコンサートをプロショットで完全収録したDVDである。この日はテレビ特番として1時間に編集されたものが現地で放送されたが、本作はその流出の完全盤である。

ポールの最新ツアー南米アルゼンチンはブエノスアイレスでのUP AND COMING TOURを、驚きの超高音質ステレオ・サウンドボード音源に加え、プロショット映像のDVD がついたセット。内容もレア・ナンバー「Bluebird」を24年ぶりに披露するなど、初日とはまた違った特別なコンサート。美しいピクチャー・ディスク仕様の永久保存のがっちりプレス盤。初日と合わせて揃えておいて欲しい。
