The best collection “TREASURE TROVES” series, which carefully selected sound checks and rehearsal sound sources from many live tours that Paul McCartney has done so far, is now available on the DAP label! ポール・マッカートニーがこれまで行ってきた数多くのライブ・ツアーからのサウンドチェックやリハーサル音源を厳選したベスト・コレクション”TREASURE TROVES”シリーズがDAPレーベルより登場！コンサートに先駆けてサウンドチェックをショウとして限定公開するのもすっかりお馴染みですが本番前の肩慣らしといえる演奏は時に気まぐれのジャムであったりセットリスト定番曲以外のレア・ナンバーや未発表曲であったりと想定外の面白さがあり興味が尽きません。ポール自身もいずれ未発表のサウンドチェック”お宝”音源をまとめたコンピレーションをアルバムとしてリリースする企画もあるとインタビューで公言したこともありましたが現時点ではまだ実現されていません。こうした音源はこれまでごく一部が公式リリースされた以外は限定的なTV放送やラジオ・シリーズ”OOBU JOOBU”等での公開音源さらにツアーごとに幾つかのサウンドボード音源やIEM傍受音源がリークされてきました。８９年ワールド・ツアー以降これまでほぼすべてのライブ回数に匹敵する膨大な音源の中から放送音源やサウンドボード音源を中心にその時ならではの演奏曲や未発表曲さらに一度しか演奏していないレア・ナンバーをあえて時系列ではなく年代別の比較や注目曲をトラックリストからピックアップする楽しみも含めランダムに収録。第２弾となる『アメイジング』編では８９年から９３年ツアーにかけての各地でのサウンドチェック、２０１７年武道館や２０１８年日本公演でのサウンドチェックを中心に収録。ビートルズ・ナンバーはもちろん興味深い未発表曲やお馴染みのロックンロール・カバーも年代によって演奏の違いがあったりと様々な音源が厳選されています。いつもと違う演奏が魅力の”お宝”音源の集大成としてコレクター注目の最新シリーズ。海外直輸入オリジナル・プレス盤でお届けするDAPレーベルからの最新コレクターズ・エディション第２弾の登場です！
