The Nebworth Festival, which takes place outdoors in the UK suburbs, has been performing numerous artistic performances since its inception in 1974. It is one of the world’s best music festivals that has been colored by various legends, such as a milestone concert at that time, as a trigger for returning to the scene or a new song. Artists who have appeared so far are regarded as one of the typical concerts for the band, such as Floyd, Zeppelin, Stones, Zappa, Genesis, Beach Boys, Purple, Clapton, Oasis etc. From this Nebworth Festival, this work completely records the stage of Paul McCartney in 1990 with a sound board.

From 1989 to 1990 Paul has traveled around the world for the first tour as a solo. It also became a topic to show Beatles’ songs on stage for the first time along with the new album “Flowers In The Dirt”, and it has become a pillar of Paul’s solo tour following the present. This so-called GET BACK TOUR was also in the final stage, but in that trend he stood the stage of the Nebworth Festival on June 30, 1990. At this time, I get an impression as if I went back to Japan in accordance with this festival with a schedule of only three performances with Glasgow, Liverpool, and Nebworth in UK. Although the stage is a festival and there is also a length of more than 1 hour, it has become a special set list unlike the same tour even though it was imposed time constraints.

In 1990, Nebworth released a summary of the digests of each casting artist, but only two songs from the stage of Paul alone. Still, since it was before the release of “Tripping The Live Fantastic”, it is a memorable concert for maniac playing as Paul ‘s latest tour which he could officially listen to. This work is a title that perfectly recorded Nebworth performance, Paul’s appearance with sound board. This was recorded from the live satellite broadcast of “LIVE AS IT HAPPENED” at that time, it was featured that it was recorded with the LP which was released at the time, and the CD which dropped from then, and a wonderful high sound quality sound board which makes a line is there.

First of all, I mentioned that the set list is special only for this day, but the first song is the rarity of “Coming Up” first. “Coming Up” was played regularly every time in this tour, but it was performed as a dance dance which arranged emphasis with emphasis and emphasized, and it was judged that the venue is best for exciting from the first song I will. From the new album is only one song “happy marriage”, and “Birthday” is the premiere of the same song played on stage on this tour. It was played several times even after this, even though it has been picked up by the stage in recent years, it was this day that I played for the first time since recording. “Hey Jude” is still a highlight of the concerts at all times, and the production that the second half refrains to sing at the venue is followed. The audience who gathered this day is said to be 120,000 people, and if you imagine that it is more than twice the size of the Tokyo Dome roughly, you can see the scale.

And the biggest Uri on this day will be the medley of “Strawberry Fields Forever” “Help” “Give Peace A Chance”. The introductory intro to the listeners sounds, and after the break, it is a production that knows that “Let me take you down” and sing it out “That song”. Although it is a song whose rhythm is unstable as you can tell from the episode of recording, it is being played with a new arrangement based on Paul’s interpretation. “Help” is not just a nice rock’n’roll but a relaxed arrangement as well. And at the end is “Peace to us”. It is fascinating that Paul reluctuates the lyrics of “Help” again after being confused by the refraining part. And I also want to pay attention to all credit songs of “Lennon? McCartney” including “Peace to us”. The medley of this song of John was elaborately played with the sound check of Glasgow and was first demonstrated at the next Liverpool performance. The live at that time is released by Paul as a single. This Nebworth show will be a second performance that is different. It became to be incorporated into the set list on receiving popularity or on American tour after this.

This work is not an analog dropping but from the satellite broadcast of the time, Paul’s concert at Nebworth Fes on June 30, 1990 is recorded completely with a high sound quality sound board. The set list is a special one for this festival, and in particular, it can be said that it is a memorable concert with the cheers of the 120 thousand audience and roaring, in that he plays John’s songs in the medley. Permanent preservation of a beautiful picture disk specification A tightly pressed board. Japanese style attaching.

Let me take you downと歌い出し「あの曲」だとわかる演出となっている。
