31 years after the dream’s first visit to Japan, the sound source for the first visit to Japan and the first day of the performance on March 3rd, whose definitive edition was not released, has been revived with “Complete first appearance, ultra high quality”.

Introducing the origin of the source of this WE MET FINALLY, the master used this time is the 2nd Gen DAT, and the original cassette tape is an audience recording but 1F stand invitation sheet and a microphone for broadcast coverage. It means that it was recorded beautifully using. (It is recorded from a completely different tape from the source of the masterpiece IT’S GREAT TO BE BACK that appeared in the 2000s and has been remastered several times, and the source of the first appearance of A block recording released on CD-R last year. ) And since the owner of the 2nd Gen DAT used also moved to the United States from 2003, this source has never seen the light of day.

In the first performance in Japan, the audience’s glue is strange (it should be that), Paul himself is a little nervous, and the MC is a little different from the second day onwards, but it is a day with many characteristics. IT’S GREAT TO BE BACK is a small release, and other titles are also CD-R releases, so it is a live sound source that is difficult to obtain. You will definitely be amazed at the dynamic sound image of this sound source, which has a high sound quality that makes you feel as if it was a digital audience recording in recent years, and that you recorded it right in front of the speakers. The gift of sound collecting power!).

It’s the end of the live performance itself, but there are also shouts such as Got To Get You Into My Life, new songs My Brave Face, Back In The USSR, etc. Great, Hey Jude and Abbey Road medley are also played powerfully and tightly. Furthermore, it is wonderful that Paul’s introduction MC of Linda is different from other days.

This is a high-quality super title, but it has some minor drawbacks, so I’ll be honest about it all. Tape change sound break (slight) in the MC part before SGT.Peppers, DAT tape noise (slight) in Back In The USSR, tape change sound break (slight) in the MC part after Coming UP, Let It Be DAT tape noise for about 15 seconds. This time, I considered whether to replace Let It Be with another source, but I thought that even if this noise was subtracted, this sound source would have a better position in total, so I used it as it was.

With this ultra-high quality, this title is produced with the idea that we want you to enjoy Paul’s first day of the performance in Japan, which was everyone’s dream. In addition, as a bonus disc DVD, we will also deliver a video containing an audience shot (118 minutes) from the stand seat and an audience shot (24 minutes) from the Arena A block. Especially the shot from Arena A block is a blur on the screen, but I think you can still tear. The image quality is that of this era, but has been dropped from sources as close to the master’s 8mm video as possible.

A5 size pamphlet using a press release sheet, a cool photo for the press inside, and a photo of the pass with a set list for the press are laminated.

There is an old saying, “I think it will last forever, parents and collectors board”, but this title is limited to 100 sets.

夢の初来日から31年、なかなか決定版がリリースされなかった初来日かつ初日の３月３日公演音源が、「完全初登場、ウルトラハイクオリティ」で蘇りました。

このWE MET FINALLY（やっとあえたね）のソースの由来を紹介すると、今回使用したマスターは2nd GenのDATで、大元のカセットテープはオーディエンスレコーディングなれど１Fスタンドの招待シート、かつ放送取材用のマイクを使って綺麗に録音されたということです。（2000年代に入って登場し何度かリマスターされた名盤IT’S GREAT TO BE BACKのソース、昨年CD-RでリリースされたAブロックレコーディングの初登場のソースとも全く別のテープから収録です。）そして使用した2nd Gen DATの持ち主も2003年からアメリカに移住したため、このソースが今まで日の目を観ることがありませんでした。

初来日公演の中では、観客のノリが異様（それもそのはずです）で、ポール自身も少し緊張気味、かつMCも２日目以降と若干変わるという特質点が多い日ですが、名盤IT’S GREAT TO BE BACKがスモールリリースだったり、他のタイトルもCD-Rリリースであったりで手にすることの難しいライブ音源でもあります。この音源を、まるで近年のデジタルオーディエンスレコーディングなのかと錯覚を覚えるほどの高音質かつスピーカーの真ん前で録音したかのようなダイナミックな音像には間違いなく驚かれることでしょう（放送取材用マイクの段違いの収音力の賜物！）。

肝心のライブ自体の出来ですが、カメラの入った３日目、４日目よりのびのびとプレイしていること、Got To Get You Into My Life や 新曲 My Brave Face、Back In The USSRなどのシャウトも素晴らしく、Hey JudeやAbbey Roadメドレーなども力強くタイトにプレイされています。さらにポールのリンダの紹介MCが他の日と違うのも素晴らしいですね。

この高音質なスーパータイトルですが、いくつか些細な欠点もあるので全て正直に記しておきます。SGT.Peppersの前のMC部分でテープチェンジの音切れ（若干）、Back In The USSRでDATテープノイズ（若干）、Coming UP後のMC部分でテープチェンジの音切れ（若干）、Let It Beで15秒ほどDATテープノイズ。今回、Let It Beに関しては別ソースと差し替えるべきか検討をしましたが、このノイズを差し引いてもトータルではこの音源の方に軍配があるのではないかと思いそのまま使用しました。

このウルトラハイクオリティで、みんなの夢だったポールの来日公演初日を一気に楽しんで欲しい、そういう思いで本タイトルは製作されています。なお、ボーナスディスクDVDとして、スタンド席からのオーディエンスショット（118分）と、アリーナAブロックからのオーディエンスショット（24分）を収めた映像もお届けします。特にアリーナAブロックからのショットは画面ブレブレですが、それでも涙出来ると思います。画質は、この時代の画質ですが、可能な限りマスターの8mmビデオに近いソースから落としてあります。

プレスリリースシートを使ったA5サイズのパンフ仕様、内部のかっこいい報道用フォトに、報道関係者用のセットリストがラミネートされたパスの写真もなかなかです。

「いつまでもあると思うな、親とコレクターズ盤」、古の名言がありますが本タイトルは限定100セットとなります。
