オリビア・ニュートン・ジョンのファン、そして当時の洋楽ファンにとって、とても嬉しい2枚組の登場です。1976年に、TBS開局25周年として12月25日にラジオ放送された、「クリスマス・ライブ・スペシャル：オリビア・ニュートン・ジョン・イン・ジャパン」を当時の曲間CMも含め、ノンカットで57分収録。内容は12月1日に行われた東京・武道館公演のライヴ。曲頭のDJの喋り・紹介も含め、当時のファンにとっては、その全てが非常に楽しくも懐かしい1時間と言えるでしょう。このラジオ放送は先にリリースされ好評を博した「BUDOKAN 1976」(Calm & Storm 038)のディスク２に収録されたテイクの全長版で、既発未収のSomething Better To Do、Jolene、 Have You Never Been Mellow、If You Love Me, Let Me Know、I Honestly Love Youの5曲もまとめて聴くことができます。パートによっては、エアチェックミスか、音声の後ろにうっすらと別の音が被ったりしてしまったりしている部分もありますが、録音そのものは、総じて良好で、鑑賞には問題ありません。歴史的、文化的、資料的価値と、それぞれが、非常に高い一枚と言えるでしょう。余談ですが、実は21トラック目に収録されたDJ3人の語りが強烈で、オリビアの可憐さを褒めちぎっているのですが、「外人の女の人で、あれだけペチャパイ（死語？）なのは珍しい」とか凄い発言が登場したりします。
ディスク2は、12月31日大晦日にTBSテレビ放送された「ニューイヤーズイブ・コンサート」をファンが音声だけライン録音したテイクを収録しています。（当時はビデオデッキがまだ普及していなかったので、こういった録音の仕方をされていた方も多かったのではないでしょうか。）この時のオリビアのテレビ映像は楽曲単にで断片的に観ることができますが、オープニングの語り（福田一郎氏も登場）から曲間CM、途中にインサートされた大晦日街角インタビューなども含めた全長版は、殆どのファンは聴いたことが無いのではないでしょうか。ちょうどの時、NHKの紅白歌合戦は史上空前の74.6%という視聴率を記録した時で、この裏番組で民放は洋楽（アダモ＆オリビア）を流すとは、やけっぱちと言うか、既に勝負を投げてしまっているムードが何となく伝わってくるような企画番組とも言えます。しかし堂々と1時間も組まれたオリビアの武道館ライブは価値的には比類なきものがあったわけで、これを音だけと言えど、最初から最後まで、当時の放送された通り、ノンカットで聴けると言うのは、なかなか感慨深いものがあります。面白いのは15トラック目で番組の途中で銀座4丁目からの中継が入るのですが、打ち合わせ無く適当に通行人にインタビューしたようで「オリビア？知ってるけどファンじゃないよ」（男）と言われたり、「あと2時間で新年よ、今年はどうだった？」（女性レポーター）「全然良くない」（男）、「今何なさってるの？」「今、無職」と切り返されたり、12月31日の22時の全国放送と思えないようなドタバタが意外と当時臭くて面白かったりします。（その後にランディ・エデルマンのUptown, Uptempo Womanを放送）CMを挟んでラストはIf You Love Me Let Me KnowとI Honestly Love Youが収録されています。こちらは全編を通じて音声も非常にクリアーに収録されています。38年前の雰囲気・空気感がリアルに伝わってくるファン必携の1枚。
