The album of “MTV Unplugged” released by Liam in June 2020 won the first appearance on the UK chart, and in September, the documentary movie “AS IT WAS” was released, along with topics that are expected to be completely revived Now that fans who continue to believe in the reunion of OASIS, which can be said to be absolutely impossible, and rocks are declining, they are gradually getting excited with the acquisition of a new younger generation of followers who have never seen OASIS. Meanwhile, as the second SUPER SONIC label, the legendary OASIS climax live, fan coveted must-have item, ANOTHER PLACE TO PLAY DEFINITIVE EDITION, which is currently out of print and can not be found anywhere, has appeared !!

Almost complete recording of the Shefield Arena performance on April 22, 1995, which was the last live of the first oasis.

With the existing items, the tone was quite sharp and painful to the ears, but we carefully balanced each track and dug up the cymbal system of the bass and drums for remastering. Also, the blank in the song “Married With Children” has been eliminated.

On this day, I played OASIS’s most representative song “DON’T LOOK BACK IN ANGER” for the first time. Even if you’re not a fan, 90’S UK rock fans will definitely want to keep it.

In addition, rare songs “head shrinker” and “take me away” that are popular with fans are set in the set list of this day !!

The live is a live that summarizes the early oasis, and all the songs are very fulfilling, and all the songs recorded in “Some Might Say” are also performed. Especially, “Headshrinker” is only at this time, so it is a very valuable live take. In the acoustic set by Noel in the middle stage, he also plays the coupling song “Take Me Away” of “Supersonic”.

And the biggest feature of this item is “Don’t Look Back In Anger”. Noel said, “I wrote it on April 18, 1995,” so of course this was my first performance. The lyrics haven’t been completed yet, but fans will love this first version, which was sung only with the urge to “try it because I made a very good song”.

After Noel’s acoustic set, the venue cooled down a little, and from there, “Whatever”, “Slide Away”, and “Supersonic” were played in quick succession, and the excitement reached its climax again. .. The last is, of course, “I Am The Walrus”.

2020年 6月にリアムがリリースした『MTV Unplugged』のアルバムが、全英チャート初登場1位を獲得したり、9月にはドキュメンタリー映画「AS IT WAS」公開などリアム完全復活を期待させる話題とともに、未だに絶対に不可能とも言えるOASIS再結成を信じ続けるファンやロック衰退の一途をたどる現在、なんとOASISを見たことのない新たな若い世代のフォロワーを獲得と、少しずつ盛り上がりを見せています。そんな中SUPERSONICレーベル第２弾として、現在廃盤でどこを探しても見当たらない伝説のOASIS絶頂期ライヴ、ファン垂涎マストアイテム、ANOTHER PLACE TO PLAY DEFINITIVE EDITION が登場!!

第一期オアシスのラストライブとなった1995年4月22日のシェフィールド・アリーナ公演をほぼ完全収録。

既発アイテムでは、かなりキリキリ耳が痛む音色でしたが、各トラックごと丁寧にバランスを整え、ベースとドラムのシンバル系を掘り起こしリマスタリング。また、『Married With Children』の曲中にあったブランクも解消されています。

この日は何と言ってもOASISきっての代表曲「DON’T LOOK BACK IN ANGER」を初めて演奏した、数多いライヴの中でもこれ以外にない激レア公演!! なんと歌詞が異なる超貴重バージョンを聞けるとなるとファンならずとも90’S UK ロックファンなら必ず押さえておきたいアイテムと言えるでしょう。

さらにこの日のセットリストにはファンには人気のレア曲「headshrinker」「take me away」がセットインしています!!

ライブは初期オアシスを総括するような内容のライブで全曲とても充実した内容で「Some Might Say」収録曲も全曲演奏されており、特に「Headshrinker」はこの時期だけなので、非常に貴重なライブテイク。また中盤のノエルによるアコースティックセットでは「Supersonic」のカップリング曲「Take Me Away」も演奏しています。

そして、このアイテム最大の目玉「Don’t Look Back In Anger」。ノエルが「1995年4月18日に書いた」ということで、もちろんこの日が初めての演奏。まだ歌詞が完成してませんが、「すごく良い曲が出来たからやってみる」という衝動だけで歌いあげたこのファーストバージョンは、ファンの方ならかなり気に入っていただけるはずです。

ノエルのアコースティックセットが終わると、やや会場がクールダウン、そこから「Whatever」、「Slide Away」、「Supersonic」を立て続けに演奏する事により、盛り上がりは再び最高潮を迎えます。。最後はもちろん「I Am The Walrus」。

あまり聞かれない時期のライヴですが、セットリストの贅沢さ、「Don’t Look Back In Anger」の初演を含め、ぜひ聞いてもらいたいアイテムです。
