The 2001 Oasis tour before Fuji Rock was a joint with The Black Crowes. The tour, which was also called “brotherly love”, was a hot topic in those countries at that time because the two big brother bands of Britain and the United States co-starred, but the oasis was regarded as stagnant in the world. Since it was a time, it was rarely taken up by the Japanese media, and the number of items released was extremely small.
Also, at the start of the tour, there was a happening that Alan White complained of a hand problem and could not participate, and it was Alan’s older brother Steve White who suddenly made a white arrow as a substitute. He has built a reputation as a drummer for Paul Weller’s band for many years, and above all, he is the best substitute for Alain. And above all, “brotherly love” was maintained for the drummer.
From such a tour, the first delivery bonus disc was selected for the Indianapolis performance on June 1st. Audience recording with very good sound quality during the “Brotherly Love” tour, which has not received much attention in Japan since that time and has extremely few items. If this was in 2001, it would have been released on a press CD with a margin. The closeness and clearness of the sound image are perfect, and I hope that everyone from beginners to enthusiasts will enjoy it.

However, what surprises me most is the wonderfulness of the performance. First of all, Liam’s voice is in great shape, singing much better than Denver’s webcast two weeks ago when the only decent item was released on this tour. From that great condition to the scene where Noel sings and reminds me of the lyrics of “Fade Away”, which makes me feel “brotherly love”.
And speaking of this tour, it’s a drumming translation of Steve as a substitute, but of course the feeling is totally different from Alain. While his younger brother has a light rhythm, his older brother is straight and heavy. That’s the explosion of Steve’s play with a lot of side dishes from “Fade Away”. Among them, the tempo-up second half of “Gas Panic!” Is so spectacular that it becomes a completely different band.
However, when it comes to Noel’s singing “Step Out”, the sense of speed of the original song is lost, and when it comes to a light song, Steve’s play is overly reflected. However, when “Whole Lotta Love” at the end of “Cigarettes & Alcohol” begins, it is interesting that the feeling of Bonzo is heavier than that of his younger brother. Not only the sound quality is good, but the performance content is also wonderful, and it was a valuable sound source that can be compared with the play of my younger brother at Fuji Rock. Please get this for the first delivery!
