… and is like this. The concept to reprint early FLOYD music calls the topic, and recordings from almost all performances appear. However, our shop does not release it without a banner, and carefully selects the best of each day, and if it does not reach the standard, it passes through. If you have experienced the previous title, you will realize that it is an extraordinary tour that still has a number of well-known recordings that can be released so much. And the Milwaukee performance of this work is the concert that hits the 13 performances. The North American Tour is a total of 28 performances, so it’s a live album recording a show that is just the turning point.
It is the quality of this work to be worried about, but of course the best full recording. Is the biggest point cleared? This week’s simultaneous release “ATLANTA 2019 (Amity 542)” is also ultra clear, but this work is also five minutes. Although this product contains a slight distance component when compared at the level of microscopic observation, it is surprising that it does not become cloudy or cloudy and maintains the same level of clearing. It’s a sparkling sound like crystal glass that doesn’t make you feel warmth at all, and it has a total balance without getting through a certain range. Although it is vivid like a sound board, it is not as closely attached as line recording. It is a key point recording for those who like the rare sound of “Bright and beautiful sound”.
The clearness also leads to a sense of on-site. As a matter of fact, this Milwaukee performance is quite hot. Even if you make a mistake, you won’t disturb the crystal clear sound, but there is a big gap between songs. Although it goes through any live album, it feels that this work has already started to rise in the ending while it is heated after the song is finished in other performances. Of course it is not a whole song or a whole song, but the mood before it has spread out from the edges.
And that’s good again. As mentioned earlier, this film is ultra clear, so it’s super clear up to 1 grain and 1 grain of its voice and applause. Although the sound of a nearby wolf sounds loud and the distant enthusiasm has a small volume, it only talks about the volume. Thanks to the clearness of being in focus at all distances, the sense of perspective draws an exquisite three-dimensional effect that accurately reproduces the on-site space. The same is true for the playing sound. The initial FLOYD is more valuable than the sound itself, in the sounds that are played in real venues. The three-dimensional feeling, because of its envy, there is an illusionary feeling surrounded by sounds. This work makes the space experience ultra clear. I can stand how to make an ear and analyze one sound one sound, and it is beautiful even if I was immersed in the sound world without mind. In a sense, it is a super-sounding recording that embodies the ideal of audience recording.

NICK MASON’S SAUCERFUL OF SECRETS where a wonderful live album appears in three parties this week. If you feel the chaotic heat of the early FLOYD “HOUSTON 2019 (Amity 541)”, if the sound board-like adhesion “ATLANTA 2019”, and the sparkling “beauty of the space” such as this work. The latest report which is no less inferior. Because it is early FLOYD, the individuality of various recordings is felt vividly, and the fun gets deeper. ……と、このようになっています。初期FLOYDミュージックを復刻させるコンセプトが話題を呼び、ほぼ全公演から録音が登場。ただし、当店としてはのべつ幕なしにリリースしているわけではなく、各日のベストを厳選し、それでも基準に届かなければスルーする。これまでのタイトルを体験された方なら実感していただけると思いますが、それでもこれだけリリース可能なほど名録音が次々と生まれている異常なツアーなのです。そして、本作のミルウォーキー公演はその13公演目にあたるコンサート。北米ツアーは全28公演ですから、ちょうど折り返し点となるショウを記録したライヴアルバムなのです。
気になる本作のクオリティですが、もちろん極上のフル録音。最大のポイントはクリアさでしょうか。今週同時リリースの『ATLANTA 2019（Amity 542）』もウルトラ・クリアなのですが、本作も五分。顕微鏡観察のレベルで比較すると本作の方がわずかに距離成分を含んでいるのですが、驚くのはそれが曇りや濁りにならず、同レベルのクリアさを維持していること。暖かさをまったく感じさせないクリスタル・グラスのような輝く音響であり、かといって特定の音域が突き抜ける事もなく、トータルで均整が取れている。サウンドボード的な鮮やかさではあるものの、ライン録音ほど密着してはいない。ごく希にある「キラキラとした美しい響き」を好む方にはツボな名録音なのです。
そのクリアさは、現場感にも通じている。実のところ、このミルウォーキー公演は、だいぶ盛り上がっている。間違ってもクリスタル・クリアな演奏音を邪魔することはないのですが、曲間には盛大な喝采が広がる。それはどのライヴアルバムでも通じるものの、他公演では曲が終了してから沸き上がるのに対し、本作はエンディングですでに盛り上がり始める感じ。もちろん全曲・全編ではありませんが、そうした前のめりなムードが端々から滲み出すのです。
しかも、それがまた良い。先述したように本作はウルトラ・クリアですから、その声や拍手の１粒１粒まで超クリア。近くの喝采は大きく聞こえ、遠くの熱狂は音量が小さいものの、それは音量だけの話。すべての距離でピントが合っているようなクリアさのおかげで、遠近感が絶妙な立体感を描き出しており、現場空間を正確に再現してくれるのです。これは、演奏音にも同じ事が言える。初期FLOYDは出音自体よりも、現実の会場で鳴る音響にこそ真価がある。そこに佇むからこその立体感、音に囲まれる幻惑感が肝。本作は、その空間をウルトラ・クリアに体験させてくれる。聴き耳を立てて１音１音を分析する聴き方にも耐えられ、無心に音世界に浸りきっても美しい。ある意味でオーディエンス録音の理想を体現したかのような超美録音なのです。

今週も三者三様に素晴らしいライヴアルバムが登場するNICK MASON’S SAUCERFUL OF SECRETS。初期FLOYDならではの混沌とした熱気を感じるなら『HOUSTON 2019（Amity 541）』、サウンドボード的な密着感なら『ATLANTA 2019』、そして輝く“空間の美”なら本作といったところ。いずれ劣らぬ最新レポート。初期FLOYDだからこそ多彩な録音の個性がビビッドに感じられ、その面白さがますます深まっていく。どうぞ、今週も心ゆくまで存分にお楽しみください。
