“HEY MAN” finally won the 1st place on the Oricon chart, and MR. BIG in 1996 carried out the Japan tour, which was the biggest in his career. The finest master of the symbolic image is here.
This work was filmed at the “April 19, 1996: Nippon Budokan” performance. That multi-camera pro shot. Speaking of MR. BIG, if you come to Japan from the first visit to the present, you have been excited about various parts of the archipelago on a large-scale tour. And it was 1996 when the popularity of Japan reached its peak. First of all, let’s look back on the schedule that shows its popularity and confirm the position of the show.

・ April 8 + 9: Niigata Terusa (2 performances)
・ April 11: Sapporo Tsukisamu Green Dome
・ April 13 + 14: Sendai Sunplaza (2 performances)
・ April 16: Akasaka BLITZ
・ April 19: Nippon Budokan ← ★ This work ★
・ April 20: Yokohama Cultural Gymnasium
・ April 22: Lilia Kawaguchi
・ April 24: Nippon Budokan
・ April 26 + 27: Fukuoka Sun Palace (2 performances)
・ April 28: Kagoshima Citizens’ Culture Hall
・ April 30: Osaka Castle Hall
・ May 1: Hiroshima Welfare Pension Hall
・ May 3 + 4: Nagoya Century Hall (2 performances)

Above, all 18 performances. In addition to the number of cars that will not burst the bubble economy, the scale feeling of visiting 11 cities all over Japan from Hokkaido in the north to Kagoshima in the south is also the largest in my career. Moreover, he has conquered all the famous venues that represent each region. It was a tremendous tour that showed the heights that Yngwie Malmsteen and HELOWEEN, which were extremely popular at the same time, did not reach.
Among them, the Nippon Budokan performance is also famous for being broadcast live on a certain satellite broadcasting station, and has produced a number of existing groups and has reigned as a symbol of the “HEY MAN Tour”. This work is also a familiar professional shot, but the quality is not familiar. In our shop, many music programs are archived by the best masters of core recording enthusiasts, and this work is one of them. The master, which has been recorded in an environment where not only the equipment and reception status but also the power distribution is carefully recorded and the humidity and temperature are controlled, is just the best. It is unavoidable that the analog image quality is the same as that of the times, but the vivid details and glossy colors that show no dubbing marks or deterioration over time remain the same at that time. That is the beauty of the image as if it was caused by the official VHS or LD.
The time travel quality is drawn with a full show that brings together the best of the original four-person era while featuring the new work “HEY MAN”. The pattern at that time is also the official live board “LIVE AT BUDOKAN”, but that is a mixture with 1994. This work has a different set only for non-stop one-shot live broadcasting, so let’s organize it while comparing here.

● Hey Man
・ Trapped In Toyland / Take Cover / Jane Doe / The Chain (★) / Out Of The Underground / Goin’Where The Wind Blows (★) / Where Do I Fit In? (★) / Fool Us Today / I Love You Japan (★)

・ Bump Ahead: Price You Gotta Pay (★) / Wild World (★) / Colorado Bulldog (★)

* Note: “★” marks are songs that cannot be heard on the official live album “LIVE AT BUDOKAN”.

… And it looks like this. There are as many as 12 songs that you can’t listen to in “LIVE AT BUDOKAN”, but the contents are also Tokuno. “Why did you remove it” such as “To Be With You”, “Colorado Bulldog”, “Wild World”, “Price You Gotta Pay”, “Shy Boy”, etc. I want to say “!?” (Well, I released a lot of live albums), and there are plenty of famous songs. On the other hand, the rare area is also substantial. New songs “Goin’Where The Wind Blows” “Where Do I Fit In?”, Limited songs at that time “The Chain”, which is also called “I Love You Japan”, drum solo / bass solo Copeland’s “Hoedown” etc. included. You can fully enjoy the precious songs of the level that you are grateful for just listening to the live performance version with the official grade professional shots.
After the performance, four people rushing into the dressing room and the backstage where the viewer present corner is held (on the spot) are projected, and the clip of “To Be With You” is played to close the curtain, probably because of time adjustment. It’s also a real-time feeling, such as a mix where the big cheers are limited to the intervals between songs only for live broadcasting. A symbolic image instead of an official that you can enjoy the popular full show. The highest peak master. Please enjoy it to your heart’s content.

★ Multi-camera pro shot of “April 19, 1996: Nippon Budokan” performance. It is a live broadcast video that has reigned as a symbol of HEY MAN Tour, but this work is the highest peak master by a core recording enthusiast. The vivid details and glossy colors that show no dubbing marks or deterioration over time are the same as they were at that time, and the image beauty is as if it was caused by official VHS or LD. In “LIVE AT BUDOKAN”, the cut major songs are lined up in a row, and conversely, rare songs such as “Goin’Where The Wind Blows”, “Where Do I Fit In?”, “The Chain” and “I Love You Japan” are also available. Full load. It is an absolute video instead of an official that you can enjoy the popular full show.

BIG。

大代表曲である「Daddy, Brother, Lover, Little Boy」を筆頭に「To Be With You」「Colorado Bulldog」「Wild World」「Price You Gotta Pay」「Shy Boy」等々、「なぜそれを外した!?」 日本でしか記録のない新曲「Goin’ Where The Wind Blows」「Where Do I Fit In?」
