「LICKS JAPAN TOUR 2003 COMPLETE BOX」に続く Out Of Control Records 第２弾として2004年にリリースされ、長らく完売・廃盤だったミック・ジャガーの1993年2月9日のニューヨーク、ウェブスター・ホールでのライブを高画質プロショット完全収録した「WEBSTER HALL LIVE 1993」がレアなボーナスディスク付きで嬉しいギフト・タイトルとして復活です。このライブは、当時のニューアルバム「Wandering Spirit」のプロモーション用に一夜限りで行われ、その後ミックはツアーに出なかった為、TV出演での演奏を除けば、唯一の単独ライブとなっています。ライブは、本編が「Wandering Spirit」から、アンコールがファンサービスでストーンズ・ナンバーと大変判りやすい構成となっており、本編の「Wandering Spirit」は、前2作以上にライブ向きの楽曲が多いアルバムだった為、収録曲14曲中11曲も披露。バックも凄腕のミュージシャン揃いで、ストーンズとは、また違った迫力あるグルーブの演奏を堪能できます。アンコールでのストーンズナンバー3曲は、18年ぶりの「Rip This Joint」、20年ぶりの「Live With Me」、これら2曲は、翌年から始まったストーンズの「Voodoo Lounde Tour」で再演されましたが、ラストを飾る27年ぶりの「Have You Seen Your Mother Baby,Standing In The Shadow?」は、それ以降のツアーでは現在のところ披露されていないという大変貴重な演奏です。さらに重要なのは、音声がステレオで収録されていることで、現時点においても、映像ソフトでステレオ版というのは、本タイトルが唯一のものとなっています。

本来でしたら、これだけでギフトとして十分過ぎる内容なのですが、今回、特別にレアなボーナスディスク映像を追加でお付けます。こちらは同年、民放テレビの土曜夜に放送されたもので、2月の「Wandering Spirit」リリースに伴い企画された特別番組です。（90年代前半期に人気を誇った番組の一部としての放送）内容は一般の音楽ファン向けに作成されたもので、「お父さんにもわかるロック講座 ミック・ジャガー編」などと楽しいサブタイトルも登場。凄いのはミックの番組用のエクスクルーシブ・インタビューが収録されていることで、特に冒頭のミックの挨拶にはファンはひっくり返ってしまうことでしょう（保証します。）楽しく編集されたミックのインタビューコメントも面白く「60年代は？」「覚えていない。忘れたふりしてるわけじゃないよ。本当に覚えていない」「70年代は？」「最悪のファッション。70’sルックはカッコいいなんて今言われてるけど、最低だったよ」「80年代は？」「欲のかたまり」「バンドが長く続く秘訣は？」「毎日会わないこと」（笑）とユーモラスに応えるミックの表情は必見。懐かしい90年初来日の映像もインサートされています。内容は14分と短めですが、ファンは必見。マニア中のマニアが保存していたビデオをダイレクトに使用した画質は完璧の一言。これまたコレクションに加えてほしい、大変面白く、そして貴重な1993年映像です。
