MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP went on a tour of the UK in October 1983 and recorded the performance of Leicester “De Montfort Fort Hall” on October 27, the latter half of the tour, with a high-quality audience master by Mr. CRAZY S. named Taper “LEICESTER 1983” (Langley), which was released together with “RED SKY IN BELFAST” that appeared at the same time, is known as a representative of MSG’s “BUILT TO DESTORY” tour. This one “LEICESTER 1983” this time, this “LEICESTER 1983” raised a sound from the original master again as the one corresponding to the best title “THE MOVING ELEMENT” which caused a big echo in the fans immediately after the release of the other day, the whole remaster As a renewal and upgrade board with the addition of a long-awaited revival release!

“BUILT TO DESTORY” “I want to market MSG in the USA” remix was done after the original / album completion, further from “the purpose of strengthening the band” from the purpose of management, the former TED NUGENT Derek as a side guitar and vocal When joining the album and starting the tour, including joining St. Holmes, a major reform that was not found in MSG until now has been done. ‘The pattern of the show in the autumn tour of ’83 is also known as the official live work “ROCK WILL NEVER DIE”, but this sound source is clear from the audience side the truth of the MSG live on this British tour, the ease of listening to the performance – Sound power · It is enjoyable with a wonderful sound which has 4 points of reality feeling together!

Over two weeks have passed since the tour that started on October 10, ensemble of the whole band including Michael’s play is firmly fixed, and it is higher than the opening “Captain Nemo” over the entire live show You can enjoy stable performance at the level. Michael’s play in each song is very fulfilling, and solo in “Are You Ready To Rock” and “Attack Of The Mad Axeman” as well as the excitement “Into The Arena” is also a wonderful thing of goose bumps Yes. It is also interesting to listen to the different set lists from the Japan tour, and it is interesting to this sound source, and there are “ASSAULT ATTACK” numbers such as “Rock You To The Ground” and “Desert Song”, famous songs whose fans’ support is extremely high in any age Looking For Love “(here Michael is really godly!), And even the new song” Red Sky “, it is a pleasure to hear these with an excellent audience source.
As a result, Derek who finished enrolling for a short period of time works to make the band sound thick with a side guitar, while Gary Barden is powerful supporting the painful high tone on the vocal side. Especially the scene where he sangs out, such as the chorus part of “Rock You To The Ground” and “I’m Gonna Make You Mine”, (aside from fans’ evaluation) I understand that I was getting. The live including the points not heard even at “THE MOVING ELEMENT” is the definite audience source on the UK tour in ’83, and unexperienced fans are absolutely essential content!

In this release of this release, another hard rock · heavy metal fans listening sound source is included and it is becoming an element to draw a line with the previous departure! Wildlife super unit “WILDLIFE” which Steve & Chris’s brothers later formed with FM, Simon Kirk of BAD COMPANY, Phil Susan, who served as the base at OZZY OSBOURNE in ’86, also co-starred on the same day The 45 minute take that I played as the undercard of MSG was also left here by Mr. CRAZY S.!
WILDLIFE, formed in ’80 in the center of Steve & Chris’ Overland brothers, mainly with the three of them and their old-fashioned Mark Booty (Key), eventually remained in the eyes of Simon Kirk of BAD COMPANY, ’82 This kirk is a drummer and joins Phil Susan on the base. They received the production by Mick Ralfs at the edge of Kirk, and released ‘WILDLIFE’ in ’83. Because this band belonged to the same Chrysalis label as M.S.G., it would have been appointed as an undercard for this ’83 British tour.
Simon · Kirk ‘s seemingly heavy drum sound live starts with “WILDLIFE” almost as mentioned above, including “Somewhere In The Night”, “One Last Chance” · “Downtown Heartbreak” etc by Oberland brothers The number I’ve taken makes me feel the elegant style that British · Hard seems to be like a newcomer already. Fierce melodic sounds are received favorably by the audience, and listeners of M.S.G. fans who do not know their songs at all can also be attracted unintentionally.
The biggest surprise for metal fans will be on the third track (track 7). What starts with receiving an introduction of “new song” is OZZY OSBOURNE’s hit number “Shot In The Dark”! This song is a song that was originally warmed by Phil Susan, but this WILDLIFE did not take the form of formal take because it did not have “second work”, arranged in heavy under Ozzy, changed the lyrics There was a history that it was recorded on above. The elegant sound centering on the keyboard, the composition featuring the new wave style drums, and the development of the relaxed songs are rather sharp and metallic finished with Jake E. Lee’s guitar and quite a texture and image Varies. However, as already already known as a famous song, she was showing enough, and I was surprised to hear the fans heard at the venue “What is this song !?”?
(By listening to live take and demo tape like this, Ozzie who was seeking hit songs is also supposed to decide to adopt the same song. “I am a good song but not too soft!” I feel that appearance of Ozzy asks for reworking may come up)
WILDLIFE was managed by Peter Grant, a former manager of LED ZEPPELIN for a short period of time, but with the collapse of the SWAN SONG label, plans for entering the United States were also torn down and the band was forced to dissolve. This board is a valuable live record that puts their performances that can be regarded as visions more than the album, with a superb sound quality, and it will be prized as the only treasure that is unique among maniacs.

Taper leaves’ October 27, 1983 · Please enjoy the document of Leicester with contents and sound quality different from the previous generation and dimension. The combination of M. S. G. and WILDLIFE is a two-piece set of “iron plates” that promises a time of bliss for fans who love melodic hard rocks – 126 minutes!

★ It is a review summary of beatleg magazine vol.134 (September 2011 issue). For your information.

From the promotional tour in the UK of the album “BUILT TO DESTROY”, October 27, 1983 – recorded the stage at Leicester, “LEICESTER 1983” (LANGLEY: 2 CD-R) released in 2003 , Remastered the original master tape and released again on CD-R. Originally, “LEICESTER 1983” also enjoyed audience recording of good sound quality, but it is fun for the fans that it became possible to enjoy with higher sound quality by remastering. The stage on this day starts from “Captain Nemo” but since it is the second half of the tour, you can see that the band’s play is also wonderfully stable and the flow to “Rock My Nights Away” is perfect. However, Michael Schenker believes that the era of the early “THE MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP” was good, and the hot cheers of the audience to the solo debut album’s song “Cry For The Nations” It seems as if it is telling a story. In the latter half of the stage, “Desert Song” which can be said to be the heritage of Graham Bonnet is played with Gary’s vocals but I wanted to see Graham and Michael standing on stage together. It is a pity that Gary is hurting singing out at “Armed And Ready” decorating the last, but Michael’s gorgeous solo is still made to get hot. Uko’s “Lights Out” is played from the Schenker Cole of the fans, but here again Gary’s vocals are horrible, and the part of the atlama is not sure what they are singing and it is a fake crossover. In comparison there is only a word that Michael’s guitar is amazing. It is UFO’s “Doctor Doctor” that concludes the concert. Michael’s melancholy guitar plucked to be led by Andy Nai keyboard is wonderful. However, there are scenes as if Gary’s vocal is clearly playful with this song, but the ending Michael’s solo solo pierces the stop. It can be said that you can enjoy Michael of the best condition.
It is included as a bonus track that the WILDLIFE stage which was the opening act of this day was recorded for about 45 minutes. It’s a valuable sound source that can be released alone as it can enjoy the stage of a band that can be said as a vision.

「BUILT TO DESTORY」は”M.S.G.

各曲におけるマイケルのプレイは非常に充実しており、大興奮の「Into The Arena」はもちろん、「Are You Ready To Rock」・「Attack Of The Mad Axeman」におけるソロも鳥肌モノの素晴らしさで繰り広げられます。

このバンドはM.S.G.
