The phantom Ray Kennedy era MSG realized only in Japan. Introducing a new excavation live album where you can experience the shocking scene in a superb way!
The performance of “August 4, 1984: Nagoya Baseball Stadium” was imbued with this work. It is the transcendental audience recording. Speaking of “SUPER ROCK ’84 IN JAPAN”, the official professional shot is famous, but in our shop, there are many other masterpieces archived. First, let’s organize the collection from that date.

・ August 4: Nagoya Baseball Stadium ← ★ This work ★
・ August 6: Fukuoka Sports Center
・ August 8 “FROM TOP TO BOTTOM (Osaka Nanko)”
・ August 9 “FROM TOP TO BOTTOM (Osaka Nanko)”
・ August 11 “SUPER ROCK ’84 TOKYO FIRST DAY”
・ August 12 “SUPER ROCK ’84 TOKYO SECOND DAY” & official video
* Note: Only representative works on each day.

Above, all 6 performances. “FROM TOP TO BOTTOM (Shades 472)” featuring 2 performances in Osaka, “SUPER ROCK ’84 TOKYO FIRST DAY (Calm & Storm 015)” and “SECOND DAY (Calm & Storm 016)” covering the performing bands, etc. We have a wide variety of items, but the Nagoya Baseball Stadium in this work is different from any of them. It was the first day of the concert, which was also the worldwide premiere of Kennedy MSG.
This work recorded at such a show is exactly the best audience recording with “super”. Anyway, super clear & super direct & super clear! Because it sucked in lively cheers, clapping, and upcoming cheers, it wouldn’t be mistaken for a sound board, but it seems that the essential performance sound would be mistaken. I understand that there is no reverberation only in an open space with no walls or ceiling, but this sense of zero distance cannot be explained. The guitar, bass, and drums are super close. When I was completely at the sound board level and wondered “Is there any IEMs in 1984?”, The big cheers between the songs blew up and I was amazed at “Oh, it’s an audience …”.
What is drawn with such a transcendental sound is a large ghost performance that surpasses even the official video. First of all, the volume of songs exceeds the official level. Let’s organize by comparing here.

● Songs (10 songs)
・ Phenomenon: Doctor Doctor
・ God: Cry for The Nations / Lost Horizons / Armed And Ready
・ Myth: Ready To Rock (★) / On And On / Attack Of The Mad Axeman (★)
・ Endless Battle: Rock My Nights Away / Rock Will Never Die (★) / I’m Gonna Make You Mine
● Instrument (5 songs)
・ Captain Nemo / Lipstick Traces / Bijou Pleasurette / Into The Arena / Courvoisier Concerto
* Note: The “★” mark is a song that cannot be heard in the official video “SUPER ROCK ’84 IN JAPAN”.

… And it looks like this. I heard “Ready To Rock,” “Attack Of The Mad Axeman,” and “Rock Will Never Die” at other performances, but this is probably the first transcendental sound so far. In fact, there are many new discoveries when the sound is good. Especially surprising is the base of Dennis Feldman. It’s already gorigori bribbly. The vibration of the strings is felt in each attack sound, and the groove created by connecting them like beads is also glossy. Of course, the toro tone of Flying V, which is also a big feature of the on-site PA, is the leading role, but the fact that the bass was singing so far … Actually, it is a recording that makes me realize 37 years later that Denis was a hidden talent.
And, after all, Ray Kennedy. It seems that the first rehearsal with MSG was the day of the first day of the performance, but today is the first day. That’s it awesome. I don’t know what to say, but first of all, from the voice, it’s a different person from the official pro shot. Shout & shout with a super husky voice that can be called a “powerful baden”. In the official pro shot, it was “normal voice melody + shout”, but in this work, I feel like I’m trying to get closer to the melody that I remember while screaming the lyrics. Especially in “Ready To Rock”, I completely lost sight of the song, and I can clearly see that I am at a loss even without the video. However, although it is certainly a dangerous performance, on the other hand, he also admires Kennedy’s professional guts that he never gives up. It’s scary to sing in front of tens of thousands of people with the band I met for the first time, but I struggled to get rid of such a large crowd. The song title call of “On And On” was also an angry issue, and I heard the guts of “On and on and on and ohhhhhhhn !!”, and after “Rock Will Never Die”, I could only convey the feeling of “Gogo no Karado Menirigato!” It makes the Japanese (?) That doesn’t come out roar.
In addition, the band introduction at the beginning is showing the enthusiasm that is comparable to Kennedy (although the order is different). The words of a Japanese metal god are too hot, so let’s write them down.

“Are you all waiting! Are you waiting for Michael Schenker !! Let’s introduce you to Japan with a new lineup. Would you please welcome from United Kingdom, Our hero !! Michael Schenker Group !!!”

Ray Kennedy became a legend with the official video. At MSG, I was only able to perform far from what I really was able to do, and that’s why my fighting spirit to confront great adversity is dazzling and hot. Moreover, this work is the stage on the day of the first meeting, which is a legend in the legend. This work is a vacuum-packed miracle stage where Kennedy’s true value is fully opened (in the opposite sense) with super-superb sound. The sound quality and the content of the show are truly decent. Please experience the press CD that permanently preserves the impact.

★ SUPER ROCK ’84 IN JAPAN’s first act “August 4, 1984 Nagoya Baseball Stadium” transcendental audience recording. Anyway, super clear & super direct & super clear! Although it sucked in fresh cheers and clapping, the essential performance sound was completely of the highest quality of the sound board class. Not only “Ready To Rock,” “Attack Of The Mad Axeman,” and “Rock Will Never Die,” which cannot be heard in the official video, but also the premiere of Ray Kennedy and MSG immediately after the first sound matching. It’s a shocking live album that is astonishing as Kennedy’s entertainer, who is extremely rough but fiercely incites the audience.

・8月9日『FROM TOP TO BOTTOM(大阪南港)』
・8月11日『SUPER ROCK ’84 TOKYO FIRST DAY』

大阪2公演をフィーチュアした『FROM TOP TO BOTTOM(Shades 472)』や出演バンドを網羅した『SUPER ROCK ’84 TOKYO FIRST DAY(Calm & Storm 015)』『同SECOND DAY(Calm & Storm 016 )』など、多彩なアイテムを取り揃えておりますが、本作のナゴヤ球場はそのどれとも異なる。

「Ready To Rock」「Attack Of The Mad Axeman」「Rock Will Never Die」も他公演で聴けたわけですが、ここまでの超絶サウンドでは初でしょう。
「On And On」の曲名コールも怒号で「On and on and on and ohhhhhhhn!!」

Would you please welcome from United Kingdom, Our hero!! Michael Schenker Group!!!」

公式映像では聴けない「Ready To Rock」「Attack Of The Mad Axeman」「Rock Will Never Die」だけでなく、この日はレイ・ケネディとMSGが初めて音合わせをした直後の初演。
