これが『MASTER OF PUPPETS』発売からクリフが亡くなるまでの流れ。本作のオークレア公演は、ド頭“北米#1”の42公演目にあたるコンサートでした。

そのサウンドで描かれるショウは……もう聴いていただくしかない。希代の大名盤『MASTER OF PUPPETS』を創り上げたバンド・ポテンシャルはそのままに、小綺麗にまとめられていたスタジオ盤とはまるで違う豪放磊落なメタルの洪水。正直なところ、かなりラフで破綻寸前だったりもするのですが、それで萎縮しないから凄い。「だからどうした?」と言わんばかりに加速していくのです。
これこそ、世界を席巻していた革命児の勢い。スラッシュは初期衝動こそが命ですが、それが最高潮に高まった超強力ライヴアルバムなのです。オフィシャルが持ち出してきたサウンドボードの秘宝。『MASTER OF PUPPETS』デラックス・ボックスに驚喜されたメタルヘッドに更なる鉄槌を下すトドメの一撃。どうぞ、思いっきりブン殴られてください!
