Headless, the highest jazz collector’s label, has reissued the precious titles of handmade labels for collectors, which were distributed only in a small part, from the official master who took over. Hawk is here. A rare title is re-appearing at an affordable price with a reissue emblem and a newly refurbished back jacket.
A set of two CDs and DVDs containing the Mahavishnu Orchestra’s antique live performances from the sound source and video, respectively. The content is the same live, but different masters are used for FM broadcasting and TV broadcasting. Jean-Luc Ponty and Gale Moran, wife of Chick Corea, also participated. There is no early member Billy Cobham, but Narada Michael Walden’s terrifying drum solo is a masterpiece.

マハヴィシュヌ・オーケストラのアンティーブでのライヴを音源と映像からそれぞれ収録したCDとDVD二枚組です。内容は同じライヴですがFM放送用とTV放送用と別のマスターを使用しています。ジャン・リュック・ポンティやチック・コリアの妻でもあるゲイル・モランも参加。初期メンバーのビリー・コブハムは居りませんが、ナラダ・マイケル・ウォルデンの凄まじいドラム・ソロは圧巻です。
