Headless, the highest jazz collector’s label, has reissued the valuable titles of handmade labels for collectors, which were distributed only in a small part, from the official master who took over. Hawk is here. Rare titles are re-appearing at affordable prices with reissue emblems and new back jackets.

It is a live sound source by a trio bearing the problematic work “Metal Machine Music” that Lou Reed knows. Disc 1 like Brian Eno’s ambient is “quiet” that makes you feel something. Disc 2 is the “movement” of a noisy guitar and freaky saxophone screaming in the electric mist. The reason why it was released on the jazz “Headless Hawk” label even though it was Lou Reed is that it has something to do with free jazz. Or is it a sign of ECM system? In any case, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who likes pop Lou Reed. Highly recommended for those who like ambient and noise.
