ZEP 1969 Texas pop, which is a super classic among live sound sources. I wonder if there are many enthusiasts who listened to it like Blueberry Hill and Eddie. Last week a new audience recording of the day appeared online. Until now, Texas pop had two types of audience recordings, except for the audio and audio of the video. In the past, it was misunderstood that the difference in the generation of the same sound source was the third source, but this time it is a genuine new source, so to speak, it is “recorder 3”.
Among the audience sources that have already been excavated, one of them has good sound quality and was useful as a supplementary staff for long songs that had defects on the sound board, but this time the sound source is not so high quality. Both are monaural at a sufficiently good level for an audience of 1969. It’s a bit ironic that there are multiple audiences and the sound quality is good only on days when there is an absolute sound board (bitter smile).

However, there is no doubt that the recording is actually easy to hear, especially the sound images of the front two people are considerably on. The fact that the existing audience recordings of the day were generally easy to hear is a testament to the excellent sound of Texas pop. However, this time the recording started with “I Can’t Quit You Baby” and the opening “The Train Kept A Rollin'” was incomplete. Cuts occur frequently in the longer performance “Dazed And Confused”, which is undeniably for enthusiasts.
Except for these problems, the basic sound quality is excellent, so you can fully enjoy it as a new diff source. Of course, you can also enjoy it from the aspect of documents that are unique to audience recording. In the previous “Dazed And Confused”, not only the length of the performance, but also the taper that Jimmy loses interest and starts talking as soon as he starts using the violin bow is interesting. There, he confirms the performers of Texas pop and begins to talk to the surrounding audience. It can be said that this is a scene that seems to be an American festival.

However, when it comes to “How Many More Times”, which is occupied by the song part even in the same long performance, the recorder listened like a lie earlier, and the overwhelming screaming and freely changing medley songs that Robert was issuing at that time. You can see how fascinated by the development. Rather, it is unique to audience recording that you can feel how the touches of various songs are sung and boiled.
The same applies to the autumn winter land where another source was excavated and the complete recording of “How Many” was realized this time, but the same song in 1969 has a completely different medley song selection that Robert brings out depending on the day. Moreover, it is really interesting because it escalate.
However, in this “recorder 3”, the ending of the song and the finale “Communication Breakdown” have a lot of curl cuts, but even so, I can hear that the audience is very excited. sufficient. Of course, it is still a sound source for enthusiasts, but it is a new source that you can fully enjoy as “Another Side of Texas Pop”. Please try it with this gift.

★ Surprising new sauce! Moreover, the sound quality is good!

だたし今回は録音が「I Can’t Quit You Baby」から始まっておりオープニング「The Train Kept A Rollin’」という不完全なもの。
