この1973年5月5日タンパ公演は、2種類のオーディエンス音源の存在が確認されている。双方とも似たような音質、音の感じで甲乙つけがたく、しかも巨大スタジアムで録音されたとは思えない高音質なものである。本作は、この2種類のソースを駆使することにより、この記念すべきコンサートを完全収録している。もちろん、そのまま編集したのみならず、細かい修正が随所に施されており、既発盤を凌駕する価値あるものとなっている。

元音源は録音時にリミッターみたいなものがかけられていたのか、音量が大きくなる部分では録音レベルが下がるという症状が見られたが、本作では全体を通して当日発せられた音をそのまま再現するよう調整がなされている。例を挙げると「Over The Hills And Far Away」でドラムスが入って来る箇所、イントロの美しいギターフレーズから一気に曲がスパークするコンサートのキモだが、その箇所では既発盤ではことごとくレベル・ダウンしていたものが、本作ではレベルが下がることなく、非常にアタック感あるものとなっている。なぜか「Misty Mountain Hop」においてもこのようなレベルの上下が曲中において散見される。「Since I’ve Been Loving You」などは、録音者の近くでトラブルがあったらしく、口論する声が聞こえる、その影響であろうか、元テープの状態はもうガタガタと言ってもよい。それらを丁寧に補正しているの本作は、従来に比べストレスなく聴くことができる。
