* 71 Boston performance has been released for a long time!
★ Not online (not in the first place)
★ 2 types of sources have been recorded for the best total length, and the unused Src2 has been recorded as a bonus!

From the ’71 North American tour, the Boston performance on September 7th appeared in the best quality 2CD!
Making full use of two kinds of sound sources, the missing part of the main source is supplemented by the sub source, there are many cuts, but all songs are recorded, and the pitch is adjusted for the first time, and it is definitely the best title at this point.

This performance was not released in the analog era, and was the first live performance on the old cod board in the mid 90’s. After that, new Cobra CDR, EVSD, etc. appeared in the 2000s. These are the flow of the main titles that have already been released at the moment.

There are two types of sound sources.
First of all, Source 1 is a stereo Aud with a little over 90 minutes. Source 1 also has a categorical branch depending on the texture of the sound. There are two types of sound, a thin sound like a thin sound covered with a thin film when divided and a rough sound but a clear sound. , Sounds recorded with either tendency even if it has already been released. Source 2 is a monaural Aud of about 55 minutes, and it is a short fragment recording from the beginning of the live to Moby, but the only part of the live middle part (from the festival to Moby) uncollected in Source 1 is fragmentary (a little less than about 14 minutes). The point is that it is recorded, and the intro part before the start of the live is longer than Source 1.

The situation of the two sound sources is as described above, and the recorded contents of the existing titles also differ depending on the appearance and distribution time of the sound source.
First of all, the old cod and cobra CDR that first appeared in the ’90s were recorded only in Source 1, but as mentioned above, Source 1 with different texture appeared at this point. The new cod board released after 2000 features only Source 2. Similarly, EVSD, which was released in the 2000s, is composed of two types of sources aiming at the full length as much as possible, and the recording concept is apt with each title. Furthermore, regarding the stereo sound source of source 1, as mentioned earlier, there are branches with different sound textures, so it is complicated for fans to classify and position, and these two types of sound sources are rare and not on the net in recent years. There is no update release itself, and it seems that the whole picture is still hard to grasp.

On this board, the source 1 of the stereo Aud is supplemented mainly by the source 2 of monaural, and although it is far from full recording, it is aimed at full length recording as much as possible. Although the recording concept is similar to EVSD, Source 1 of the main source was recorded from Source 1 which is covered with a thin film in EVSD according to the classification mentioned above, but it is coarse but clear on this board Recorded with the sound of Nakata. Source 1 has a problem as to which sound is better, but at the moment, there is high frequency noise in a “coarse” sound and a textured part that feels loud (especially when a specific band is raised too much. I think it’s better to master in the direction of alleviating the annoying “his noise”. Therefore, this board has been carefully mastered in the direction of mitigating rough sounds. The effect is felt enough, while the clearness remains the same, the texture is slightly relaxed and the pitch is also properly adjusted for the first time as a Source 1 recording board, so it is considerably stressed compared to the existing ones. It’s an easy-to-listen sound with less noise, and it’s a little easier to hear compared to the same rough Cobra CDR board, but even compared to the thin film source 1 part of EVSD, it still feels rough in some places. , Even the texture of hiss noise can be heard conservatively, and the performance itself is definitely clear and clear sound, so it can be said that this board is the best sound for the source 1 part. With regard to this Source 1, the gap between songs was cut due to the disc change of the illusion and the heaven part in the existing Cobra CDR, but this title is naturally uncut. Moreover, the tape noise of the disk end part after the last R & R performance is left for a long time in order to differentiate it from the cobra CDR board.

The part recorded with Source 2 is not net or copy, but has a lot of fragmentary audio but is carefully mastered. Although it is a dango-like sound with monaural Aud, it is a sound that is fresh and good enough to catch the performance, so it seems to be sufficiently high quality.
In the main part of the CD, the supplement from the intro part and the festival that is missing in the main source 1 to Moby are recorded in this source 2 in a fragmentary manner. The recording time is about 14 minutes in the section from the festival to Moby, and it can be seen that there are quite a lot of missing things even with this alone, but this is the same as the already released. In addition, before and after the cutting part, a lot of editing was done by crossfade etc. in the already issued, but in this board, there are slightly more breaks before and after the cutting part in order to differentiate it from the already released board. .

In the latter half of Disc2, Source 2 which is unused in the main part is recorded as a bonus track.
The live intro part overlaps with the head of Disc 1, but it is a volume of about 42 minutes with a bonus from live intro to dazzling. This means that all of Source 2 has been recorded, including the main part and the bonus part.
Although the new cod board was a single board of this source 2 in the already issued, there were distortions of level over, localization deviation, gap noise at the track change, etc., so the localization was also installed in the center and gap noise and distortion etc. This edition will be the best title for the source 2 part without any problem.

In addition, there is a cut in Source 2 of this bonus track, and in Since I’ve Been, there is a part where it will level down (voice sounds faint) for about 1 minute (this is the same for already issued), No compensation has been made for this bonus track part. In order to differentiate it from the existing board, the edits before and after the cut part are also conservative here, and it is in a state closer to the original sound source state than the existing board.

Anyway, there is no doubt that this bonus part can be fully enjoyed, and the total of the two discs is about 150 minutes, making it the largest full board of the ’71 Boston performance ever.

The definitive board of the Boston performance in September ’71 appeared with careful mastering like this label!
