Recorded a monaural audience recording of the Portland performance from the North American tour in June 1972. This sound source first appeared as “LIVE IN PORTLAND 1972” (2CD) about 20 years ago, but due to its sound quality and recorded contents, it has not been made into a record since then, so it will be the first appearance after a long time. Good news for those who have never heard this sound source. The overall sound is muffled and has a lot of hiss noise, but the performance itself is caught unexpectedly close, and although it is dumpling-like, the sound is quite powerful, so it does not feel surprisingly fresh to those who listen for the first time. I wonder (only the last Rock And Roll has lower sound quality than the others). As for the recorded content, the early stage of the live has not been recorded as in the previous one (recorded from the middle of Stairway To Heaven), and it is a pity that there are some cuts in the song in Dazed And Confused as well as the previous one. However, there is no doubt that it is an item that fans can not miss only at the live just before the Seattle performance that performed wonderfully.
