Recorded the performance of San Bernardino on June 22nd, the 14th day of the 1972 US tour, with high-quality audience recording. The finest sound quality recording that has been familiar since the analog era. “WINSTON REMASTER” version of the excellent sound source that represents the tour. The text on the net says “Master Reel> Cassette> CDR> Remaster”, but it is certainly the freshest and natural sound of the performance sound source I have ever heard. For our generation, who nostalgic for the products of Equalize Wars with bare ego, it can be said that a high-quality sound source master with a sense of alienation has appeared. The cut point of the second minute of Bron-Y-Aur Stomp is intentionally left as it is. Other than that, there are no particular drawbacks, and the recording that everyone from enthusiasts to beginners can enjoy is exactly this, and it is a masterpiece full of liberation and loose dynamism unique to this time, and new creativity. You can enjoy the stage. The best title that brilliantly documented the band’s west coast night, which is improving the groove of the entire band for the 3rd day of Peak & Highlights Inglewood and the 5th day of Long Beach performance. Recommended 2-disc set with no questions asked, 2 hours and 20 minutes of frenzy.
1972年USツアー14日目の6月22日サンバナディーノ公演を高音質オーディエンス録音で収録。アナログ時代からお馴染みの極上音質録音。ツアーを代表する優良音源の「WINSTON REMASTER」版。ネット上のテキストには「Master Reel>Cassette>CDR>Remaster」とありますが、たしかにこれまで聴いた同公演音源の中で最も鮮度が良く、そして自然な音のクリアネスが抜群です。エゴ丸出しのイコライズ・ウォーズの産物が今や懐かしい私たち世代にとっては、隔世の感のある良質音源マスターの登場と言えるでしょう。Bron-Y-Aur Stompの二分目のキュルっという音のカットポイントはあえてそのまま。それ以外に特に欠点は無く、マニアからビギナーまで誰もが楽しめる録音、とはまさにこのことで、じっくりたっぷりと、この時期ならではの解放感とルーズな躍動感、そして新たな創造性に満ち溢れた圧巻のステージを楽しむことが出来ます。ピーク＆ハイライトの3日目のイングルウッド、5日目のロングビーチ公演に向けて、バンド全体のグルーブを良い感じに高めつつあるバンドの西海岸での一夜を見事にドキュメントした最高のタイトル。問答無用でお薦めの2枚組、狂熱の2時間20分。
