The ZEP release from our shop this week will be a sound board recording that caught Orlando performance on August 31, 1971. “Oh, FLORIDA SUNSHINE ‘s SBD” That is right. It has already felt that it has swept the market for 15 years and it has a sense of sound. I think that there are also many maniacs who have the title there. Why is this famous SBD now? As it seems, this time it is based on the version that appeared on the Internet in recent years, it becomes the release of the version again combined with the audience recording on the same day and the hybrid.
Of course, this time the loss of recording that had occurred since “Celebration Day” is not changed at all. As for this, it is obvious that this happening happened because the staff forgot to change after the first cassette at the time of SBD recording from the PA out. Initially it is not a recording act on the basis of release, it is the thing which was contained in a cassette as a check and a record for the last for PA. It is natural that there are such deficiencies, and it is impossible for us to discover it in the future, just like the opening part of “The Song Remains The Same” in ’77 ‘DESTROYER’. This is a phenomenon which can be said as fate at the PA out SBD sound source.
Nonetheless, this version contains much value to be released on limited press CD. That’s because the SBD part this time is familiar on the net KRW_CO released from its own tape collection, published July. Speaking KRW_CO, I uploaded the best version of Copenhagen in 1979 on the net, and it was also remembered that my shop showed it as “COPENHAGEN 1979”.
Even such he even said that the Orlando SBD this time is “generation unknown”, but in a wonderful state where a clear upper feeling is felt. The time when “FLORIDA SUNSHINE” was released is just the time to call it equalization wars. Besides that, if it becomes the first appearance SBD from America tour in 1971, there is no way to equalize it. Furthermore, since the dimensions of the sound image have to be combined with a completely different audience recording, it is natural that it was essential to equalize in order to alleviate the disparity at all.

On the other hand, it is natural that 15 years have elapsed since release and it is natural that you feel uncomfortable with that equalization. On that point, the natural and suddenly warmy taste of KRW_CO version of this time is obvious from a comparison with listening comprehension. With the arrival of the Orlando SBD, the 71-year USA tour has become a three-winged state of Toronto and Hampton. The release from our shop was newly memorable Hampton was a rough textured texture, while Toronto recorded enough mood to make it feel even dark. Orlando SBD can be regarded as sound quality that goes between. That resulted in a more prominent result thanks to the natural taste of the KRW_CO version this time.
Moreover, since it is SBD, it also captures the tone that echoes as if the treble, which was a feature of Bonzo’s snare drum until 1971, escapes vividly. This sound has changed since 1972, and the image of that Bonzo drum has become established as a result of a change to a texture that intensified the heaviness. In that sense, it is also a great appeal that the sound of the snare peculiar to 71 heard here will be transmitted more realistically by this natural condition.
Regarding supplementing the defect location by audiences recording, I used diploma item “WELCOME TO DISNEYLAND PARTS 1 & 2” that made the world known to the Orlando performances. Actually, it is the biggest factor that this was in a natural state. Both of these two types of sound sources do not rely on equalization, as a result of applying editing that made the best use of the natural state to the last, it became possible to enjoy the Orlando performance with unprecedented sound quality. Another thing to keep in mind is that the pitch deviations that each sound source had are also adjusted more precisely than ever.
For SBD, if you think that there was a rise in pitch after “What Is and What Should Never Be” where recording was resumed, the pitch will fall in “Organ Solo” this time. Speaking of AUD, this is already messed up. Therefore, it is a big advantage of this release that not only the natural state of the sound source but also the fact that the two kinds of sound sources are recorded with a stable pitch from the beginning all the time.

Orlando performance that you can hear in such a stable state is really wonderful! In the United States SBD Samuu in 1971, there was a reputation from the beginning that the most runaway performances are heard, but the performance from the opening obviously wild. It is Paige who plays this part. Basically, even during 71 years when the phrase was smooth, the number of sounds stands out even more. Pelting in the interval between “Heartbreaker” always plays “Bourree” of Bach until the bow playing of “Dazed And Confused”, furthermore it hits the first time to play “White Summer” by ending. Even though “Black Dog” which explodes with the screaming voice of the plant which should be said only in 71 years, literally the momentum is over and the playing direction is doubtful, it seems refreshing again in 71 years .
That is why the cut after “Celebration Day” which can be called as a chronic illness in Orlando SBD (a cut of audience recording will also occur) will be regretted, but also in page Aiji Page is also the “You Really Got Me” riff of kinks In the beginning of “Whole Lotta Love” who returned to SBD, playing a late iff of “How Many More Times” is played, and plenty of plenty of plays are captured in a casual manner and in plenty . A new upper version of the classic SBD that caught the appearance of ZEP which explodes in America even more in a month after the end of 929 eternal elegance finally appears here. Anyway please ask this!
