“DESTROYER TOUR 1976”, the heyday of the heyday. The superb sound board album that is the top of it is a permanent preservation press CD.
Under such circumstances, this work is a sound board recording of “September 6, 1976 Ontario performance”. It is a place for the superb live album of “DESTROYER TOUR 1976” during the heyday of the heyday. As for the sound board of this tour, there was “ANAHEIM 1976 (Zodiac 031)” of the Anaheim performance on August 20, but it is a super sound that thins that name board. It’s just one amazing thing.
The biggest point of this work is the superb sound, but first the show position. Speaking of 1976, the three tours “ALIVE! TOUR”, “DESTROYER TOUR”, and “ROCK & ROLL OVER TOUR” are also in full swing, so let’s look back at the overcrowded schedule.

This is KISS’s 1976. From April 22 “North America # 2” to “DESTROYER TOUR”, but the day after “North America # 1” just before. It’s a good date to see how they were running non-stop at the time. Then, go to “North America # 3” with KISS’s first overseas tour “Europe” leg. This performance in Ontario was a concert corresponding to the last 32 performances.
This work recorded at such a show is just the best. There are a variety of sound boards, but this is a direct system that seems to be directly connected to the desk. Its super high-quality sound is bursting from the scream of “Alright, Toronto !!” that pops out as soon as you press the play button (note the volume!). The cheers that respond to the screaming are far away, and conversely, the singing voice and performance are poured directly into the ear hole. From picking nuances to the faint echoes of vocals and the gradually approaching “Firehouse” siren, everything is super sound sticking to your mind. This shock has been since “ANAHEIM 1976”. Moreover, there was a (super) upgrade of the classic classic shot sound, but the Ontario performance was not known so far, and this work was the first appearance. Unfortunately, there is a lack of the end of the last “Rock And Roll All Nite” and the beginning of “Deuce”, the first song of the encore, but it’s a superb sound board of that shock.
The live performance with such an ear-sounding sound is the heyday of KISS, who created the masterpiece “DESTROYER” and got on the ride. Let’s organize the contents here.

… and it looks like this. A rich set that should be called “ALIVE! + ALIVE II”. “Do You Love Me”, which can not be heard by both of them, is delicious, but what is more powerful is the performance of the band itself. Although the momentum of the wind of the break was enormous, and even across the border, it was held right next to the popular center of Detroit (“DESTROYER TOUR” had no Detroit performance). The enthusiasm is not easily transmitted from a small cheer, but the enthusiasm of the band tells us that there is a frenzy in the field. There’s no way we can do such a great performance in front of a silly audience … Exactly what from what to “ALIVE 1.5” a great live. The enthusiasm is poured into the brain with online sound. It is no longer a dimension of “It was good to listen”, but it is a pleasure to remember even the puzzle of “Is it good to listen?”.

The top classic “ANAHEIM 1976” was also amazing, but this work is also a superb masterpiece. A large, large, large decision board of the heyday KISS that was said to be “I have not listened, I can’t have it” when it first appeared. 全盛期の中の全盛期、“DESTROYER TOUR 1976”。その頂点ともなる超極上サウンドボード・アルバムが永久保存プレスCDで復刻です。
そんな中で本作は「1976年９月６日オンタリオ公演」のサウンドボード録音。全盛期の中の全盛期、“DESTROYER TOUR 1976”の超極上ライヴアルバムの場です。このツアーのサウンドボードというと、８月20日アナハイム公演の『ANAHEIM 1976（Zodiac 031）』もありましたが、あの名盤に肉薄するスーパー・サウンド。まさに驚愕の１枚なのです。
本作最大のポイントは超絶級のサウンドにあるわけですが、まずはショウのポジション。1976年と言えば、３つのツアー“ALIVE! TOUR”・“DESTROYER TOUR”・“ROCK & ROLL OVER TOUR”がひしめく時期でもありますので、まずはその過密スケジュールを振り返ってみましょう。

これがKISSの1976年。４月22日からの「北米#2」から“DESTROYER TOUR”とされていますが、それも直前「北米#1」の翌日から。当時の彼らがいかにノンストップで走り続けていたのかがよく分かる日程です。そして、KISS初の海外ツアー「欧州」レッグを挟み、「北米#3」へ。本作のオンタリオ公演は、その終盤32公演目にあたるコンサートでした。
そんなショウで記録された本作は、まさに極上。サウンドボードにも色々ありますが、本作は卓直結かと思うようなダイレクト系。その超高音質ぶりは、再生ボタンを押した途端に飛び出す「Alright, Toronto!!」の雄叫び（ヴォリュームに注意！）から炸裂しています。その絶叫に応える歓声は遠く、逆に歌声と演奏は、耳の穴に直接流し込まれるかのよう。ピッキング・ニュアンスから、ヴォーカルにかかるうっすらとかけられたエコー、徐々に近づく「Firehouse」のサイレンに至るまで、すべてが脳裏にこびりつくスーパー・サウンドなのです。この衝撃は、まさに『ANAHEIM 1976』以来。しかも、あちらは大定番プロショット音声の（スーパー）アップグレードでしたが、オンタリオ公演はそれまで知られておらず、本作こそが初登場でした。残念ながら本編ラストの「Rock And Roll All Nite」の終わり部分とアンコール１曲目の「Deuce」の冒頭に欠けがあるものの、まさにあの衝撃の超極上サウンドボードなのです。
そんな耳直サウンドで繰り広げられるライヴは、名盤中の名盤『DESTROYER』を創り上げ、乗りに乗る全盛期のKISS。ここでその内容を整理してみましょう。

……と、このようになっています。まさに「ALIVE!＋ALIVE II」とでも言うべき濃厚セット。その両者でも聴けない「Do You Love Me」も美味しいところですが、それ以上に強力なのはバンドの演奏そのもの。ブレイクの風を全身に浴びた勢いが凄まじく、しかも国境を挟んでいるとはいえ、人気の中心地デトロイトのすぐそばで行われたライヴ（“DESTROYER TOUR”にデトロイト公演はありませんでした）。遠く小さい歓声からは熱狂は伝わりにくいですが、何よりもバンドの熱演が現場の狂乱をありありと教えてくれます。シラけた観客を前に、こんな凄い演奏をできるわけがない……。まさに何から何まで「ALIVE 1.5」といった大充実のライヴ。その熱演が脳みそにオンライン・サウンドで注ぎ込まれる……もはや「聴けて良かった」という次元ではなく、「聴いちゃって良かったのかな？」という戸惑いさえ覚える快感です。

大定番の頂上盤『ANAHEIM 1976』も凄絶でしたが、本作も双璧を成す超名盤です。初登場の際に「聴いてない、持っていないはあり得ない」とまで言われた全盛期KISSの大・大・大決定盤。永久保存プレスCDで、ここに堂々の復刻です。
