Our KISS sound board series, which has produced a series of historic super masterpieces. As the first of these, “REVENGE IN DAYTON” has been loved as “another ALIVE III” for a long time, shocking the collector’s world. The supreme board that pursues the possibility of that super-famous recording to the maximum is now available in the permanent storage press 2CD.
Of course, what is engraved in this work is “November 25, 1992 Dayton performance”. It is the transcendental stereo sound board recording. This sound source is just a shock. And it was a signal of a good advance. It is a master of the outflow of related parties brought by our own route, and not only has it never been known until now, but the quality is also transcendent. It’s a so-called mix table direct connection type, but even if there are a lot of spills, it’s no match. It was a transcendental board that reigned at the highest peak. One of the factors that can be considered is the relationship with “ALIVE III”. To explain what that means, let’s first look back at the schedule at that time.

This is KISS in 1992. It started before the album was released, but it is the autumn / year-end tour of repartitioning that will be in full swing. The Dayton performance of this work was the 38th concert of “North America # 2”. “ALIVE III” was also recorded in the same “North America # 2”, and the scene was “Detroit (11/27)” “Indianapolis (11/28)” “Cleveland (11/29)” which will be the next performance of this work. ) ”3 places. In other words, this work is an “Another” sound board that is continuous with “ALIVE III” but does not suffer from a single song, and is (probably) a complete outtake that would have been recorded for “ALIVE III”.
And while the quality is comparable to the official work, the individuality is totally opposite. The concept of the official work is simply “musical work” and “concert simulated experience”. Editing and overdubbing are processed without hesitation so that all layers can enjoy it as a work, and cheers that create a concert-like mood are also refined. It is a very well-organized musical piece. On the other hand, the sound board directly connected to the table is “100% performance on the spot”. Mixes that are not considered for playback in home audio are separated violently and intensely, and the stereo feeling of bread is as exciting as flying from one end of the venue to the other. The strings played by the pick, the vibration of the skin, and the singing voice including the exhaled breath are poured into the brain without any processing.
Moreover, this work is the highest peak of such a table direct connection system. It’s not as simple as recording directly from the mix table and it’s always transcendent, and if you don’t have top-notch staff, it’s just messed up. However, there is KISS. If the performance is the best ever, the staff is top notch. The ensemble is an iron wall even if it explodes vividly and powerfully, and no matter how violent the band is, the finest mix will not shake at all. It is a transcendent sound bow with “quality is exactly the same as ALIVE III” but “incomparable freshness”.
It has become longer than I expected, but this work is the highest peak of such an outflow sound board. It is the ultimate specification that has been refined by meticulous mastering. However, it did not reach the point of being “just another thing”. Of course, it would be easy to earn the sound pressure and finish it as a different product, but that would be a blasphemy for the sound source. To the last, we will repair “turbulence” such as pitch, phase shift, and noise. The accuracy has been improved more than ever. However, there were limits to the improvement, such as the original sound being too transcendent and the original being not the type that pursues the sound of musical instruments. At the time of the original sound, there was no room left for “everyone was surprised at the difference”.
Regardless of the amount of increase, this work must be the ultimate. The ultimate sound that is directly connected to the brain is a full show that is different from “ALIVE III” in the set. Let’s organize by comparing here.
