まだ１週間も経っていない、最新のスペシャル・ライヴがギフトDVDRで登場です。本作は、KISSの東京ドーム公演を収めたオーディエンス・ショット……とは言っても、アイドルと共演した本編ではありません。限定のVIPチケットを買った人だけが観ることのできた、アコースティック・ライヴです。
このスペシャル・ライヴが行われたのは、本公演と同じ東京ドーム。開演に先立つ、昼の２時半ごろから約40分間に渡って演奏されました。600人ほどの観客がステージの両脇とアリーナから見つめるなか、大きなキッス・ロゴの照明の前にノー・メイクで並ぶ４人。広大な東京ドームの中だからこそ、こぢんまりした感じもしますが、ちょっとしたクラブ・ギグのレベルです。
リラックスした雰囲気の中で演奏を始めるたのは、「HOTTER THAN HELL」から「Comin’ Home」！　さらには「Christine Sixteen」「Hard Luck Woman」をたたみかけ、THE BEATLESの「If I Fell」「You’ve Got to Hide Your Love Away（トミーがミスって途中で終了：苦笑）」やマディ・ウォーターズの（というよりLED ZEPPELINの）「You Shook Me」などなど、本編では演奏されなかった曲が次々と披露されていくのです（「Sukiyaki」は本編でもやりましたね）。
そんな美味しいライヴを、ステージ向かって左側アリーナから全曲収めたのが本作。もともとアコースティック・セットだけに観客がうるさく騒ぐこともなく、アングルのブレもない。デジタル・プロショットばりの美麗画質と超クリア音質を、思う存分たっぷりと楽しめるのです。
